You've basically listed my thoughts.
The only thing that I feel would be very tragic personally, would be Mehak realising her love for him and he dies saving her. Maybe she has already warmed upto him and they've consummated their wedding...so she's pregnant and wants to break the news and also confess her feelings.
If this is the case then him dying in her arms would be the most tragic thing. And since she's pregnant...she won't die or even think of committing suicide. Hence he lives on in her and their child...and she never marries again.
This would be a different ending compared to Danny's older shows.
1) Dur e saying its a tragic love story š
2) the first look teaser
If not for the above, i would think, consummation toh kya, she will never ever even warm up to him š
Or what if Mehak realises her love for him too late and Shamsher actually dies without learning about that! But dies in her arms! That would be a lot of tragedy!

@bold: this is possible. So basically my scenario without the baby. Seems fair. In that way the guilt will eat her up and she won't even think of moving on.
