I watched Incantation last night because of all the hype on TikTok. Jesus, the movie was so slow. I was fighting harder than a woman possessed to stay alive and conscious. While the movie focused on a malicious deity, I was battling an even stronger entity known as sleep-induced-coma.

In fact, my ass accidentally hit the remote and the movie paused, only to show us that the film still had 40 minutes to go. The whole room groaned. My cousin, who was sitting next to me gave up fighting sleep and was knocked out cold instantly.

I was only creeped out slightly because they kept chanting something to invoke the malicious deity, and the chanting was all over the TV screen with a symbol repeatedly appearing. The symbol was scary as well and your paranoid mind starts thinking …. what if I’m going to get cursed just for watching this film. 😆

Final thoughts

Don’t bother with this movie. I found Ek Villain 2 more scary TBH, especially because of Arjun Kapoor’s acting.
