Naa he doesn't even look at her after taking baby in his arms.

When Sai returns from hospital she tells him I have informed everyone that kaku ke Virat ka veer putra aaya hai aai baba ka nanha Rajkumar aaya hai and while she is telling him all this virat keeps the baby in her hands and she emotionally and happily cries.

Finally Samrats blessing came true partially. Pakhi paid for cursing Sai's dealth and her child's. Now she has to pay for making their life hell for 8 months.
