Hello wonderful people,

Sorry for such a late update. First of all, it’s been about two months that I am not watching the show so I don’t get inspired like before. I was already a slow writer. I am now even slower than before. 🤣 Then I also had an accident so really wasn’t in the mood to write. And lastly I was on a trip to Greece. Altogether, I didn’t even know what to write anymore. But finally, I decided to think a little and here I am with a new chapter.

I won’t spoil anything and let you read. Let me know how it was. Take your bharas out on me, I am sure you will… but till then see you in the next one.

Samrat turned his back and walked a few steps away. Luna watched him go away with a face full of confusion. She was left disappointed, upset, hurt and with regrets.

« So that’s it ? You were after me for so many days and now that I have accepted your love you are running away ? », she shouted at him.

Samrat smiled and turned around. Luna was even more confused seeing his big smile. He walked up to her again and lifted her face by holding her chin then kissed her forehead.

« You have tortured me for so long. I just wanted you to feel the same for once. », he said.
« You donkey… », she started to hit him.
« You shouldn’t hit your boyfriend nor call him a donkey. », he replied holding her hands.
« You aren’t my boyfriend yet. », she replied.
« What are we then ? », he asked curiously.
« Two lovers trying to understand each other. », she replied with a smile.

Samrat smiled happily as being lovers was way better.


Virat was waiting for his lovely wife on the balcony with two mugs of her favorite green tea but his happy face changed into annoyance with Pakhi’s presence.

« You don’t have to leave. You won’t see my face again after a few days. », she stopped him from leaving.
« Are you finally going to sign the papers ? That’s a good news for us and for you too. », he said.
« I wish things were better between us for the remaining days together. », she said.
« You have ruined the things on your own, willingly and unwillingly. You tried to stop Devi Tai’s wedding on Kaku’s orders, didn’t you ? », he asked but as she was hesitating to confess he added, «Because she is your only support system. »
« All I can tell you is that I am sorry. », she replied.
« I don’t think I can ever forget what you did but I will be cordial to you so that you stick to your decision and move on. Make your life better, Pakhi. Don’t ruin it for a two days infatuation. », he suggested.
« You are right. », she said.

Pakhi left while Virat doubted her intentions. With all her previous act, it was hard to believe her. Pensive, he didn’t realize that he was joined by Sai.

« What was Pakhi didi telling you ? », she brought him out of his thoughts.
« Nothing much. She is ready to sign the papers. », he replied.
« Samrat dada really worked hard on their marriage. », she said.
« Let’s not talk about them. I have a lot of things to tell you. », he said extending one of the mugs.

They took place facing each other but just like his previous attempts this time also he didn’t know how to confess his love to her. Later they were joined by Mohit and Karishma and the four had a wonderful time.


Samrat managed to convince Luna to let him pursue the mission and requested her to leave. The next day before bidding goodbyes, they had breakfast at a café. Luna looked at Marie-Laure’s visiting card and then dialed her number. She thanked her for her advice and for making her realize that she was missing out on the love of her life. Samrat told Luna to thank her on his behalf too as without her they wouldn’t be together now. After the call, they had a serious talk. Luna didn’t want things to go public till he didn't get the divorce. She didn’t want to be called a homewrecker nor Samrat to be called a cheater. He agreed to keep their relationship secret.

« We will see in a few days but till then don’t disappear again. », he said teasingly.
« Now I have a reason NOT to disappear. », she replied with a smile.



Things were going pretty good for the three brothers. They were happy with their respective partners and career wise. Mohit was still shooting for his show and advertisements. Meanwhile Samrat’s mission was also over and retuned to this hometown but before going to the Chavan Niwas, he decided to meet his lady love. Virat finally gathered all his courage to plan a surprise date with his wife. He wrote a confession letter and bought a gift for her. He received a call while impatiently waiting for his wife to return from her college. Duty was calling him. He asked his colleague to send him the address and ran to the washroom to change. Pakhi who was passing by eavesdropped the conversation and entered the room. She checked his phone that was on the bed and found the address. Back to her room she called her friend and asked for help.

Virat left for his mission and Pakhi’s friend entered the Chavan Niwas a few minutes later. She requested Bhavani and Mansi to let Pakhi accompany her to one of their friends’ birthday party. Pakhi being her favorite daughter-in-law, Bhavani easily gave the permission.

Once in their room, Pakhi explained the whole plan to her friend. They called two other friends and invited them for a party. Pakhi told her friend to write a letter copying Virat’s handwriting while she went to the bathroom to get ready.

« How will this help you ? », her friend asked when Pakhi came out of the bathroom.
« Samrat will be here in some time and he will see the letter and then let’s pray he creates the drama I need to break them apart. They are already not in good terms. Let’s go before he comes. », Pakhi explained.

Virat reached the resort where a criminal he was trying to catch for a couple of months was holidying. From sources Virat got to know that he was organizing a party for a huge supply of drugs which will allow him to catch him red handed. Virat and his team planned to join the party as a group of friends celebrating the thirtieth birthday of a friend.

Meanwhile Samrat came back and went directly to his room to freshen up. Tonight he was going to sit with Virat and tell him that he was over Patralekha and wanted to throw the past in the dustbin. He was excited to get back the old bonding of the brothers. He wanted to spend the night on the balcony with Virat and Mohit like old days. He opened the cupboard and his eyes immediately fell on the envelop. Curious to know what was inside he opened it and read the letter.

Pakhi,

The last few days have been beautiful for both of us. It was nice to see the old Pakhi back, the one I had fallen in love with. I think I still love you but I am tied by promises. Life is playing with us. Last year I couldn’t hold your hand because of my brother and now that you both have decided to get divorced, I can’t back out from my promises. A few days ago you asked me if there was any chance, even a tiny one, for us to be together again. With a heavy heart I have to tell you that I can’t for now and I can’t either ask you to wait for me for four more years till Sai becomes a doctor. It would be unfair to you. But I also know how much our love story is precious to you and if you still feel that you can sacrifice your precious years for me then join me at the Meridien Resort tonight around 6 p.m.

Samrat sat down on the bed, angry and disappointed. Ever since he found out that Virat and Sai were married to each other, he felt that his brother was falling in love with his wife. The way he cared for her, protected her or even lovingly looked at her, everything indicated that he had moved on from his past.

« How can you cheat on your wife, a lovely wife like Sai ? Why did you have to pretend to dislike Patralekhai in front of everyone ? », he asked to himself.

« What if it was a trap by Patralekha ? », his inner voice questioned him. With what ifs, the truth won’t come out. He needed to see with his own eyes. Did Virat actually ask Patralekha to join him so that they can plan their future ? He decided to hide it from Sai but if his brother really wanted to go back to Pakhi then he will help him to get rid of his promises by taking Sai’s responsibility.

Sai who was back from college got to know from Ashwini that Samrat was back from his mission. She was so excited that she went to meet him in his room. When he saw her walking through the door, he tried to hide the letter but Sai had a hold on it before he could do anything.

« What are you hiding, dada ? », she asked.
« Nothing, give it back. », he told her.

His nervousness made her even more curious. She read the entire letter and went numb.

« It’s maybe not him. », he tried to be positive.
« It’s his handwriting. », she replied.

She so well knew his handwriting. All his gifts were always accompanied by a note and there were so many times he had inserted chocolates in her bag with a sorry or a good luck note. She indeed perfectly recognized his handwriting. Samrat walked out from there.

« Where are you going ? », she ran behind him.
« To see the truth. », he replied.
« I need to see it too. », she said.

Pakhi spotted Virat from far and joined him.

« What are you doing here ? », Virat asked coldly.
« We are celebrating a friend’s birthday. What are you doing here ? », she asked back.
« Nothing that concerns you. », he replied annoyed.

The man he was looking for welcomed everyone and put the music on. He personally invited everyone on the stage. Virat politely refused. For nothing in the world he would dance with someone else other than his wife. The guy held their hands and dragged them to the dance floor. Virat jerked his hand away.

« I said no. », Virat firmly refused to dance.
« That’s ridiculous Virat. That’s very insulting. What are you afraid of ? It’s our last dance anyway.», Pakhi said grabbing his hand.
« The only person with whom I will dance is Sai. », he replied politely taking his hand off her.

Pakhi’s friend pushed her and she landed on him. Virat was about to shove her away but his colleague signed him not to. They can’t ruin their mission because of personal issues.

« Enjoy the birthday party with your friends, Pakhi. Don’t waste your time on me. », he murmured, gently detaching himself from her.
« Pick me up when you leave. », she teased him.
« Ask your friends to drop you off. », he replied.
« Rude. », she laughed.

Virat rolled his eyes and walked away. Pakhi saw Samrat and Sai leaving the place hurriedly and smirked at her friend. The plan worked just as she had visualized it in her head. For an army man her would be ex-husband was quite stupid. It was so easy to fool him.

« Sai, you should have chosen a smarter company. Your useless so called dada will destroy your life.», she talked to herself.

Samrat banged his fist on the car. Sai controlled her emotions. She didn’t want to show him that her heart was broken into a thousand pieces.

« I am so sorry for you dada. I know you tried your best. », she said patting his back.
« I care a damn about her. We were about to get divorced anyway. I am mad at Virat. How could he do this to you ? », he said.
« Don’t worry for me. We never loved each other. I am just his responsibility. », she replied.
