Actually ktk dekh ke, i got reminded of the serial 'pratigya'. Anyone remember this serial? There also heroine's father is a college professor.. hero is from a very wealthy influential family and is a spoiled brat.. he falls in love at first sight with heroine and harasses heroines family to get her to marry him.. his family is against the marriage.. he breaks heroine's engagement with another man..he is very obsessive and can't live without heroine.. heroine hates him.. he does crazy antics to get her.. he goes mad when she leaves and kidnaps her..

But, not sure if you are aware of this, this drama is based on a real life story. Yeh ek real life Mehak aur Shamsher ki kahani hai.

u mean mann ki awaz pratigya right? i haven't watched the show but I do know it.

KTK is based on a real story that happened in Pakistan...since it was not reported anywhere because the boy's family had wealth and power...so the writer basically took that story, added subplots etc to it, changed the names etc

I watched deewangi and went mad for sultan durrani.. u don't know how much i wished for a happy ending for sultan and nageen.. till the end, i kept on hoping ki sultan ko nageen mil jayegi.. but at the last minute they killed him🤬. I was sooo angry with the way deewangi ended that i thought to never watch another pak drama again.

But ishq hai happened and i went crazy for shahzaib.. i prayed and prayed for their happy ending and in the end shahzaib ko isra mil gayi.. i was sooo happy. I watched that drama more than 10 times.

Now ktk.. i love love love shamsher even though he is crazy. I wish this also will have happy ending like ishq hai🙏.

The main attraction in all these dramas is obviously danish taimoor. He is tailor made for these kind of roles. I don't care what critics say.. i just want danish to do more and more roles like these.. he is very sexy in these type of roles.

(I didn't like his role as shahjahan in meherposh.. that kind of role didn't suit him at all in my point of view)

Which is why they chose Multan cuz apparently it has many famous mazaars.. now they had to fit that in the plot after all 😆
