So Priya would be a wife for namesake only. She thought Priya would not take this marriage seriously but what she didn count on was that Priya would care for Ram in a way nobody else had. She saw the concern in Priya’s eyes for Ram and she knew it was a matter of time before Ram would reciprocate and they would fall in love. And she never expected Priya to be someone who could see through things. She knows Vedika is a sly fox and she also knows Vedika is a gold digger. Yet she prefers her over Priya who wants nothing to do with Ram’s money. Y is that? It’s only coz she can manipulate Vedu unlike Priya. She can control Vedu in a way she can never control Priya. Not counting the time Shivi died coz Priya’s guilt made way for Nandu to manipulate her. Nandu knows she can get rid of Vedu in a heartbeat but it’s not the same case with Priya. Priya may not want a penny from Ram but Ram is willing to leave everything for her and she cannot afford to lose him. It’s not out of love but only out of greed. That’s y even in the face of her child’s death, the only thing that mattered to her was getting rid of Priya. Only to hold onto Ram’s money.

There is a certain greed written to that character, that is unmistakably to our faces, but the evil and mean dialogues are subtly muted under niceties and a soft hissing tone… that she broke twice infront of priya, until now… showed her other side, just like ram faced ms twice to know his original face towards priya….

I just saw today’s episode… and could see the way Ram is going to stand against Nandu, while Pri stands with him. ..

Like how it happened previously …

Both are victims of parental abuse, who couldn’t/weren’t able to prioritise themselves, their bond(they simply didn’t know/see/conditioned to do so)

… in terms of facing exes, they could happily navigate the way…

When Adi says “Priya hates neeraj now- , Ram replies “to hate someone now, she should have loved him at some point”- and

Priya reduces Neeraj to no importance wala insaan🤣

When Priya comes to know of Vedika, she directed him that she wants him and the marriage, but would walk out if he wanted to back out.

Ram reduces Vedika to a chuha that should be sent out breathing out all frustration 🤣

but parental manipulation… priya fell short infront of manipulation of ms… and ram fell short infront of Nandu….

Pri knows MS is vile, yet couldn’t gather her strength, that she wanted ram’s support to fight him reg accident , when she trusted him with no explanation , just before the accident truth came out… post that, she had her breakdown and confessed and wanted him to punish ms, but they decided to let go… until vk’s case.

Now,

It’s time Ram should know of Nandu, isn’t it? He knows that he isn’t “her son” but her behaviour had always been nice, just nice…

there is a side to her that he isn’t aware about, even all of us are in the dark, that she isn’t what she shows herself to be… until the circumstance plays out.

Remember Pri took the blame of Adi, we were all okay, but in case of Ishan, we are all railed up…

Adi’s dialogue: “ kisi apnon ko bachane keliye, khud ke upar ilzaam koun leta hai?” And all ram’s friends reply - “ram”

They have established equivalence of Ram and Pri since before then too. But this is when it was overtly spoken.

The only reason I can think of for Shivi to be idiotically resurrected is if cvs write themselves into a tight corner and can't think themselves out of it. Early after the leap I did toy with the idea that Shivi might not have died, but I rather she stays dead than more illogical bs.

Unless it's a Misery scenario (the author protagonist in that book had to resurrect his heroine for a crazy fan who had him captive and helpless, AND make it plausible.) But after so many years, I find it hard to imagine how, apart from the memory loss trope.

¤ Sara hitting Ishaan was hilarious🤣it remind me of my teens when i did something naughty and maa hit me with my pillow and jump & run around the bed saying maa stop and tata(nanu) ask ur daughter to stop and when tata distracts her attention i hide under the bed. There are huuuuuuge craters of loopholes in the track that I can’t seem to overlook…😆

1. When Ram got papers of vk’s police enquiry, he didn’t see Meera’s testimony, possible suspects and their interrogation reports and possible missing evidences report?🤪 And why wasn’t she arrested later?

2. It is the same day as the kidnap, Krish was with him all day long, only leaving him 15 min before he met pri… so technically, the chances Ram having a weak moment with krish is higher than pri having one with krish… 🤣

3.Also, If he did have physical intimacy with priya the day before and couple of days later again, of the said changed clothes day(btw the reason itself seems ….🤣) , shouldn’t he have atleast doubted that it could be his child, keeping her infedility claims aside? Or was he too in a state of “hua ki nahi hua?”🤣 This is where ram went missing

4. Priya didn’t know about her pregnancy when she confessed and protected Ishaan, when she did get to know it…Priya called ram to inform about pregnancy, tried multiple times… via krish, via brinda, via call, again via call (this is where n came in between) .

She practically begged N to not see the kid’s fault in the fiasco… to not punish the child for her Mistakes and to not let the kid away from her father…

but N made a simple common sense wala logic… that the confession she did can be turned to murder , if there is a witness of intent (which ram was) as the act was already done and was confessed by the convict. and she also threatened that she will send the kid to orphanage.

Now, she broke ties with her mom, and family, had to break ties with her love of her life in the worst possible way, had to pull in her friend in the Lie tainting him too, had to give up the father’s lineage to her kid… all this… and suddenly, that N comes to ask for help and reverse threatens involving her own kid?… and she is seeing the situation with that much mellow-ness? This is where priya went missing.

Where the hell is Priya? Where the hell is Ram?

I don’t think there is priya 2.0 or even ram 2.0 … they are just ram and priya, who evolved into façade of roles to be performed numbing the tsunamis and volcanoes inside them.

Priya's current attitude is irritating the crap out of me. I can't stand this helpless, hand-wringing reactions. Accepted that she's not og Priya, the memory of that P makes me want to shake her into using some gumption.

The fading memory of the og characters, plus the anticipation of Nandu's downfall still keeps me from cutting off totally. But he'll, I need breaks from the unrelenting annoyance the cvs dish up.

Ram may have a soft corner for Pihu, but the thought that Pihu being Krish’s and Priya’s priority being Krish is still looming in the BG. I want atleast Ram to know about this but keep quiet about this till the villians are revealed….The way villians are going, they are digging each other’s graves. The CVs are trying to make V a stronger villian than N, but failing miserably. I wish Shashi was back, getting tired for N, V and Shubham along with the new entry. They are pretty much useless.
