Sara was good for nothing. A horrible sister, wife and a mother! Which mother decides to leave behind her growing son and shift base? At the end of the day, Varun had no blood ties with Ishaan. Not saying she should have snatched Ishaan from him but she had more rights on Ishaan and she could have put her foot down to take him with her to Mumbai if saving her mother's bakery was a priority. Instead she left him behind to be raised by Varun who brainwashed the child. She never had a real bond with Varun and after his truth was out, she did not care that it would sabotage Priya's marriage. She was concerned for saving Varun for Ishaan's sake despite knowing the horrible lies Varun filled Ishaan's ears with. Later on she fell in love with Vikrant and wants to marry him. Fine, no issues with that. But she has a child and though she does not need his permission to marry another man, this decision will affect him. She was shopping excitedly for a public engagement with him while she had not even informed Ishaan about it. Didn't Ishaan deserve to know that his mom is getting engaged to another man? Only Sandy is showing some semblance of sensibility right now. Maithreyi was hopeless as it is from the start. She decided to marry the guy who had dumped her elder sister and broken her heart. Man, Priya had the shittiest family of all.

MM : How did that witness letter crop up? If MS and Shashi were not known to police, Shashi's father's involvement was only found while getting land back, if that incident was thought as accident by police and family; then where does the question of false witness comes up???

And after giving false witness why hasn't Ram put her in jail...

He was demanding that from Priya, right?? Forget Ram, why didn't police themselves after arresting MS and Vikram, later on arrest MM as false witness is a punishable crime.

Ekta maiyya ki Jay ho! 🤣

On top of everything, MM is part of every function, every jalasa but not once has she tried explaining Priya whether she was forced or manipulated to give witness, not once has she helped her daughter and grand-daughter in any financial or emotional way, not once she tried to find where both were.

Ishaan still doesnt wanna share anything with his mom just cause she simply doesnt care he is more comfortable with Priya or even Sandy in that case.

Ishaan's character doesn't make sense in one aspect. Banda is not reflecting on his murderer father at all. A disillusionment about your loved parent is hugely traumatic but writers have lost this completely.

Ishan is only thinking Priya maasi took blame for him but he does not even once think he was wrong in picking up fight with Shivina in first place.

The leap has butchered the storyline and the characters both.

I am no fan of Priya 2.0 nor do I like her succumbing to fate but this is how it was always meant to be.

The biggest fear of Priya 1.0 was no matter how much progress she makes in life , she will not be able to surpass the miseries brought upon her by fate in the form of MS and his misdeeds. Priya 1.0 has said this fate dialogue multiple times.

Had Shivi death been an isolated incident, Priya would not have given up.

Just like how people say, taking care of step family is like an albatross hung in Ram's neck. He has been conditioned a certain way by Nandini using guilt and responsibility of being the man of the house after VK death so is the case with Priya. She has been emotionally abused right from the time she was born to believe that she is unworthy of happiness.

Just because Priya has been objective and independent, we all expect her to be a fighter all the time even at the face of tragedy.

5 years back Nandini played the right cards with both Ram and Priya .

Ram somewhere knew that Priya didn't kill Shivi and even knew that the child in Priya's womb is his as Priya is incapable of adultery but got manipulated by Nandini and gave up.

So is the case with Priya. When she got to know she is pregnant she hoped against hope and called Ram. It was never her deliberate intention to keep Ram in hiding about her pregnancy , but Nandini played her cards right and guilt trapped Priya beyond which she couldn't think straight.

We have to understand that just how Ram is capable of getting manipulated by Nandini so is Priya very much capable of succumbing to her manipulations owing to her own weaknesses. We may all want Priya to play prince charming to Ram's Cinderella and save him from his evil step family but Priya has to save herself too from her mental conditioning of curse and fate.

Unfortunately Priya does not yave even a single person in family who can show her the right path when her steps shake and her decision making ability is clouded , to motivate her to do what is right n needful when she has lost the zeal to even live .

We talk about how Priya should fight about father daughter rights, but this one has lost the energy and motivation to even live , forget about fighting. She is a living corpse no different from Ram , but cannot show it for the sake of Pihu. Her condition is pretty much evident form the elevator scene , the only reason she stretched her hand out is for Pihu otherwise was content dying.

Coming to the current situation . It is not 7 days vs lifetime. It is atleast 7 days as lifetime is not an option. All she can do is collect sm silly memories .

Had she known or had the strength to fight her demons and find a way out she would have done it 5 yrs back.

There is a limit utpo which Priya can push this narrative that beneath the Khadoos Ram is a Kohinoor diamond .

She did make Pihu understand how Ram saved her from manhole, return her medicine box, gave his entire farmhouse to make Pihu play, sat with him on ride inspite of motion sickness.

She even told Pihu that how Ram had helped her and her family multiple times even without asking. But if she keeps on forcing Pihu to like him she will obviously grow suspicious that why is her mum forcing her to like a stranger which she already has become. She was wondering why Priya always takes the side of Ram and not her.

The whole point of self harm which I do not approve at all, was the fact that Priya is aware that she is the reason Ram has become Khadoos.

I may be the only one but I do see this as the much awaited form of regret. It may not be a monologue and self harm is stupid and wrong but the fact is she did it to give Pihu an opportunity to meet Ram 1.0 .

Also regret is the second step. The first step is the tubelight moment where she understands that she is stronger than that damn curse. That she needs to break that shacke , beyond that curse n fate there is light and hope, had she fought five years back things may have been different. Right now she doesn't even think that something else within her own capacity was possible.

Only when she realizes that she indeed has the power to write her own destiny regret and remorse would dawn upon her.

She is giving them space, so that Ram can genuinely bond with Pihu in an environment where Krish and Priya are not around, so that it will atleast become a tad bit easy for him to bond with this kid without seeing her as a fruit of adultery.

About the fact that why Priya's concern is hiding her jail past more than hiding about the paternity, is because Pihu is already at a good place in terms of her mental health right now.

She is happy and content with her Miss Sood and is at peace with the fact that her father is away on an adventure. She didn't even react much on knowing that Ram could possibly be her father.

It's like more than father , she wants the right prince charming for her mother. Papa for Pihu at this point is just a bonus but not a necessity. This may change as she grows up , but right now there is no yearning but just curiosity about her father. In her own words she and Miss Sood are sufficient for each other.

But on the other hand her entire existence revolves around her Miss Sood. The fact that her mom was in jail for killing a human, how is she supposed to digest this information?

What happened to Ram when a random manager told him VK was corrupt. His whole world crumbled . He lost faith in everything around .

What happened when Eshaan got to know that the father whom he hero worshipped was a murderer? Shivina died.

So it is very much understandable that right now Priya wants to keep Pihu as far as possible from her dark past. Pihu does not deserve to live with this feeling that she is the daughter of a criminal, a feeling with which Priya is tormented every single day for being the daughter of MS.

Every time someone in the neighbor finds her criminal record she takes Pihu and leaves the place so that people around do not bully her. I know it is not possible to run away from the truth forever but she can only try to the best of her ability to protect her child till the time she as a mother feels Pihu is mature enough to be the told the truth of jail.

Lastly on a side and unrelated note Priya can actually learn from Pihu how to lie without self harming , the kid orchestrated a whole false asthma attack efficiently

I m tired of Priya harming herself physically. This is probably the fourth or fifth time she is doing it .

This is my last rant on this topic. Can't believe wrote so much on a weekend.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to put all this down. As Ram changes back, Priya gets more flak, and only some of it is deserved.

Our standards have fallen so much, that for now, all I want is to find the characters halfway logical. I find Priya's almost manic 'contentment' and acceptance of her situation more consistent than Ram's strange angry, ruthless Casanova facade, which has faded into nice-ish Ram again. I don't like the simplistic idea that having Priya back UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES is enough to revert him, given that to his mind she's still a cheater who covered up her murderous family causing his sister's death. And forgive me, I had to laugh at his mouthing Priya's dialogue about not supporting wrong to Nandini.

Priya has the excuse of staying upbeat for Pihu. Seems like she blocks out why she is where she is in her life to continue giving Pihu a happy life. Her arc hasn't shifted much since the leap or since meeting Ram again. True, she's not carrying the burden of her spouse's alleged infidelity or his family's involvement in crimes against hers, but neither is she holding a grudge against the biggest letdown of "mujhpe bharosa karo, mai paraya nahi hu". When push came to shove, bharosa flew out with Priya's changed clothes and Priya was parayi enough to ignore for 5 years while he acted out.

As for regret for keeping Pihu and Ram from the truth about each other, especially Pihu from Ram, I don't know why it's not explicated. It's a failure of storytelling. Again. But also, it would be an old guilt, much handled, much felt, internalised. While viewers would like it expressed, it's a part of her life, like living for Pihu is. (vaidharbhi's ref to the lift scene.)

My main complaint wrt Priya is that she and Pihu have had an extremely insular life. Pihu probably had friends at school, but how many times has she been uprooted? Except for Krish, she has no constants in her life before the great Sood reconciliation. Why did Priya not keep in touch with her sisters? Sara is useless, but there's no doubt even she would have showered love on Pihu. (Meera may not be bad, but I really don't want her around anyone, period.) Big shortcoming in how Priya brought her up, apart from the stupidity of letting Krish take baby Pi.

I don't much like child actors in serials, so I'm not pro-Pihu, but I can't really blame her for her suspicions wrt Ram. And maybe good for Ram to get a reality check after thinking he's so nice, how can anyone not like him. He was boorish and pushy. I personally felt he deserved Priya getting mad at him. Maybe I'm biased. It's not that I don't like Ram, but he gets away with things more easily.

This will just keep going around in circles, I guess.

It may not make sense to show her looking for jobs in Mumbai. But they can show her looking for jobs in the place she’s planning to move, like may be Goa. It’s not like she moves there and a job is waiting for her. And Ram is never going to make sense of all the clues around him unless somebody tells him in detail to his face. Be grateful Priya isn't wearing a ghunghat and taking up a maid's job in KM to be close to Ram. That's how bad it can get. Seriously, though, it would be great to have these small details shown, but when they're hardly ever shown working, it's obviously asking too much.

Meera takes the cake for me. I don't know WHAT it is about that woman, that even acknowledging she's not a bad person compared to others, I'd take anyone, even MS over her. She just makes me want to NOT see her or hear her inane fakery.

Sara is next-level clueless, self-absorbed, disloyal, and selfish.
