Same and I am taking a hiatus from Pakistani shows but when I do rewatch it it will never be another six sigma show - that’s my boycott for forcing me to watch his expressionless and terrible brother.

I hope something happens so that rafaqat and his family will live the rest of their life in regret and guilt. So much happened and they still don't learn anything. Got bankrupt and their own son proudly speaks about his criminal activities and both the children don't care a bit about either of the parents but guroor or khamand mein koi kami nahi😡

One thing surprising is that ushna after being University topper don't seems to have any career plans but sadaf that hardly passes any subject is thinking about starting a boutique 😆.

I am also gonna take a break from pak dramas. I need to watch grand kdramas now. Done with naam ke paise Wale pak families. Now I want to see kdrama Uber rich families that for real wears branded clothes and has lawyers and bodyguards at their door steps🤣

ASA only had limited episodes for a daily soap. 62 i guess isn't that big for a daily soap. It's just that due to ramdhan break it didn't air properly for a month and also only aired 4 episodes per week compared to geo soaps that airs daily or 7pm ary dramas. During its runtime, 1-2 daily soaps started and ended in ary at 7 and geo at 9😆

I had no idea that soaps and dramas were different on PTV, I used to think all were dramas with more or fewer episodes or bigger or smaller budgets, some coming daily and others coming weekly.😆 I had no idea that soap actors and drama actors were different. 😆 My knowledge of Pak industry was very limited, thanks to ASA thread I know that such politics exist even there. And obviously, I got to know that nepotism is deep-rooted even in Pakistan through this show.

Honestly speaking I was more invested in characters than actors, so any day I would prefer Ushroz over Usmol. There is a reason I'm rooting for the second season, but if these 2 are coming together with another show, I would like to give it a try, but not that geo show sitamsar, it looks like a recipe for the disaster from the pictures itself.😆 I have never liked any geo show. I feel like the kind of reputation these two have earned through this show as an onscreen couple, that geo show would ruin it. I wish they had not signed that show. After the success of this one, anyone would have cast them together at the right time, but oh well.....😆

I also had no idea that there was different b/w 7pm, 8pm and 9pm shows until i watched usama's iv. Apparently the least famous/new comers get 7pm and if they give 1 or 2 hits on that timeslot and the channel likes them then they will get a 9pm show as leads and if they are good actors with hit 9pm shows they might get second lead or important roles in 8pm shows. Getting a lead role in an 8pm show is pretty hard. Also there is not just nepotism there is favourism by channels as well. There are some actors that only work with hum or ary or geo. Usama gets to work in all channels almost equally. Bilal only worked with hum and ary and hum seems to always give more impotance to his female leads than him. Ary seems to love Bilal.

I have the same feeling towards geo shows as you. There is something not so likable about geo shows. The only geo drama that I liked was ishq jalebi. From the promos and casting their daily soaps seem to be highly influenced by itv. Most of the time the leads and supporting cast also don't interest me. If i wanted to see something similar to itv wouldn't i simply watch itv where i get more than enough scenes and romance of the leads with sizzling chemistry. Why would i turn on geo to watch two people holding hands and standing 5 feet apart😆

I also feel sitamsaar might stay true to the name and won't be like aik sitam aur where the only sitam was baring creepy. Apart from that the drama didn't had much tragedy or seriousness of a pak drama. I am also not liking the entire cast of sitamsaar except for usmol.

Usmol seems to have signed sitamsaar way before ASA started airing. They started shooting for it in dec-jan and i guess they even ended shooting for it before ASA ended shooting😆. We will know if usmol got any advantage of the attention they got from the next project they sign.

The entire muktar house except the younger brother are hypocrites. Atleast the younger bother never tried to interfere in zainab and ushna's life after they left the house. Also managed to have a half decent son compared to Rafakat😆. Sadaf behaved as if shehroze and her were in a relationship and ushna stole him from her . The dude don't even remember her existence 🤣

Even Rafakat would have never interfered in Zainab's life after her marriage if Raeesa wasn't his wife, and those overgrown kiddos were not spoilt beyond a limit by his wife. Raeesa and kids have a habit to go out of their way to poke their dirty nose into others' matter, there is no full stop for them until the other person totally block their way, but still they would try to get there. Just like sufi creepy knows he is not welcome at Wahab's place, so he had taken a duty to carry Zainab's purse and reached there to get kicked out from the gate, but still he was happy that he managed to make them upset.

Mehnaaz is manipulative, but she doesn't go beyond a limit, and Shujat never lets her cross a line. Unfortunately, Rafakat has never drawn a line for any of his family members, and now when he wants to set a limit, his own kids are not ready to listen.

Sadaf has taken this delusion from her mother. Even Raeesa thinks Zainab doesn't deserve a share of Rafakat's money when it's not his money. If Zainab gets her part, that's from her father's wealth and 3 of them had equal rights which Zainab was refused by his brother. Same way Sadaf thinks Shehroz was reserved for her from the time she saw him for the first time without realising he is not a table in a restaurant to get reserved, nor Mukhtar family had ever done any favor on him to not reject their good for nothing daughter.

Exactly, I don't even feel like watching siramshaar plus there are two pairs ugh. Wo to aur torturous hoga. I wish Usama and anmol knew that ASA would do wonders for them but alas no one knew their pair will turned out to be that successful and they had signed siramshaar before.. Both usama And anmol know now that as Anmol clearly said in live that introducing director ilyas kashmiri , "yahi hai, jinhone Hume sath me cast Kia hai" somewhere indirectly telling fans that credit for success of their pair goes to him.
