It is also one of the first shows I've been an active part of where the FL is berated for being a doormat and the antagonist is hailed for being "ambitious". As though being ambitious is the only thing which means a woman is progressive, or being "ambitious" means that you can be medically negligent, cause hit and runs, reveal confidential patient information, and be high on illegal medical prescriptions. Bleh.

The show needs parallel characters to survive - I would rather have characters like Mahima-Manjari and Harsh, who know how to act rather than other characters who have no proper backstory for being who they are and do not have any idea how to emote.

The execution of the tracks is the problem, and not the tracks themselves. The adoption track was such a HUGE development - but there was absolutely no indication of any emotional changes it might have brought. How does Neil feel about being Manjari's stepson? How does Abhi feel about his adopted brother being his half-brother - of being a sign of his father's indiscretion? How does Harsh feel about Smurf being his son - forget repentance, he hasn't even reflected on it yet. The actual depth in these tracks is missing.

I have to ask even though I don't want to compare but for those who saw Season 1 wouldn't these things be shown as part of the aftermath of the track? It doesn't mean they have to dedicate entire episodes to this aftermath but a few scenes here and there for development of the characters. Just because you show it doesn't mean the character is locked in for a specific reaction to the next track circumstances. This is how you add some substance while also putting in filler type episodes because there will always be filler so there is a balance of drama and pacing.

I watch this season as a brand new show. I don’t like to compare the seasons. While I agree what you mean but I also feel there is execution issue from the makers. All tracks feel incomplete. Substance is definitely missing.

I have watched quite a bit of the first season and that season was really really high on emotions. In fact Akshara's mother would have a conniption even if the milk boiled over šŸ˜† Till the point I watched, the characters were well etched out and slowly grew into better people. Rajshree's stress, Dadi's gyaan ke moti, Gayatri's insecurity regarding losing her son, Nandini's insecurity about her handicap etc etc. And characters like Dadaji changed from MCPs to neutral in a relatable manner.

There might have been different reasons for it though - the race for TRP wasn't this brutal and publicised, no one was sitting with hawk eyes every week to chew out the lower ranked shows. I mean for people who think these episodes are dragged, they spent a week with the mystery of whether Nandini would get her preferred chooda for her wedding 🤣🤣

I think the makers are just moving from one dramatic track to another without any emotional connects because they are competing with a highly dramatic EK show - a show that was number one on the TRP chart for almost a year during Season 2. This race becomes annoying for viewers who are watching for anything deeper than a puddle.

Completely agree. Also oh Aarohi is more relatable is something I've heard. Really now? She is jealous of her sister and hating on her brother in law? Her whole existence is to show them that she is better. That is relatable?

I honestly think that the track is still ongoing. Smurf's true colours will come out albeit slowly. If Abhi is made CEO whilst he is having PT because of his hand, watch NSG convince smurf that he is also Not So Birla because who handled all the after the fire paperwork and odd jobs whilst "the bhai who loved him like his little one" wax at home recovering? Watch NSG convince him that the "bhai who loved him like his own" is jealous of him; watch him forget everything....the smurf who loves bhai ain't gonna be a puppet in Aarohi's hands but the one who feels he has been ignored so that Birlas ki ekloti shaan my Abhi can run the hospital will also wallow in self pity and join team NSG. This is my theory on why that track isn't fully done yet.

Also I tend to keep my thoughts about Abhi and the actor playing him to myself because there is such a fuss made over characters and TV actors being a certain way that there is no point over praising the way certain scenes are done or executed or how you KNOW someone will perform and when you get it you are so pleased.

So i tend to hold back a lot when I post.

Luckily i am on holiday and so I am only responding to peeps who tag me.

we said Grace. All characters are needed for story to go ahead. And there is no need of comparison.times have changed and faces too. with Neil's truth out the dynamics changed are abhira first. Their diff povs and standing against each other as told in red cloth rasm. Both are unable to hold their relationship first so fell down but both held each other in Nick of time there by stood strong. Next impact is manjari. She thought she is bearing wrath and taking pain for family being together. Never expected abhi to say that her life has spoiled his maritial life. So there it started for her to recollect and rewind where she is unable to stand for herself..ak have her initiative. Abhi gave her his shoulders. Next is Neil's. His behaviour changed intially but later he accepted truth and he is living in his house and working in hospital with haq. He is happy he got family. He did nt fight for his share or rights ..he just wanted love and acknowledgement from.that family . Only change which didn't occur is in harsh. Manjari chose abhi finally against Harsh. But he can't see any thing beyond his ego..story is shown beautifully though we need to have patience. Ak got the change in all. Abhi is reduced his anger behaving normally not with louder tones while shouting on harsh and he is giving manjari space to think and act according to her heart.

and bhoom next day read Ar kaand...

So again will stop watching the torture šŸ˜† waste of time and energy...

Because of Ar and my most irritating character in the show----Kaand mata...

Understand Harsh abuse her very badly...but she hide Neil's identity and ruin his life..She is not sorry for that to Neil..no explanation..She does major kaand and gets sympathy..

Papa Birla no matter how bad he is...tali do haath se bajti hai...Manju has done something..Makers are turning 360 degree...not giving us the past story to clarify their behaviour to each other. This is making storyline weak...

I am sorry you had to watch Ar on your return episode.. šŸ˜†
glad to see that your love for Manjari remains unchanged 🤣

Even I am waiting for Manjari harsh back story.. hope they show it but makers ka kuch bharosa nahi hai. šŸ¤”

Jokes apart, I really hope you are having a good time on your vacation.. šŸ¤—

No the accounts that you bolded out are viewers from Gen 3 only. They have no clue about previous gen (apart from a cursory watch). Theirs is a friends group who watch shows with hot fresh young leads that's being hyped on SM like IMMJ 3, Spy Bahu, KKIS, and other Turkish shows etc.

And these girls pride themselves as champions of "grey misunderstood" (actually toxic) characters. Aarohi fit their bill from day 1. They wrote justification posts why her character is an epitome of loving sister and she needs to be understood and hyped. KS liked their posts and they made a group chat and she joined that as well.

So they keep chanting wasted potential (since she wasn't given a chance to show her chemistry with Harshad) based on that one awkward picture. The saltines increased once Aarohi started getting punishments for her kaands. Since, Abhimanyu was now leading the charge against Aarohi he suddenly became their enemy #1 (The same guy they were crying wasted potential with before šŸ˜’)

So after wedding her ss is NIL so they watch the show on ff in search of getting a closeup for her. Their frustration these days is really enjoyable because they don't have anything to write to defend the poor misunderstood character anymore 🤣🤣

So they are stuck with making imaginary Neirohi dialogue edits and VMs by zooming in the AbhiRa dance sequence. Their collective breakdown over the Rangi Saari sequence was a thing of legends. They thought the dance would be focused on Neirohi but boy were they served. I wish was petty enough to screenshot and post their reactions šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

Aaru kept Teejh ka vrat! She deserves Ramta Jogi.

Then on their second date he meets Abhira, fixes Abhi’s hand issue, marries Aaro and off they go to London or Paris or Timbuktu.
