Ankit Bathla talks about his character in Star Plus show ‘Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey’.

It is no news that actor Ankit Bathla is set to enter Star Plus show ‘Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey’. The show has been keeping its audience glued to the show with an interesting twists and turns. The upcoming episode will see a major drama which will be very interesting. And to add up the drama in the show the makers have roped in Ankit Bhatla.

According to the reports in leading portal, the Manan Joshi track in the show will be kept on hold and Ankit's character will be introduced in the show to play lead. He will be introduced as a new character and will play the other guy in order to spice up the drama. India Forums got in touch with Bathla and asked him a few questions about his stint in the show.

When asked about the character that he will play, Bathla said, “Well, I am playing the character of Armaan Shah, Senior Editor of Lucknow Times magazine. He is a typical ‘Mills and Boons’ kind of a hero. In my previous shows, you might have seen me smile a lot and joke around a lot, but this guy Armaan Shah, talks business and he is very passionate about everything he does; be it work or love, everything is driven by passion”.

Talking about the challenges that comes when an actor enters an already running mid-way, Ankit said, “Well, I wasn’t really apprehensive about anything. I know that the cast is already shooting since the start but when we met during the mock shoots, everybody was quite warm and welcomed me wholeheartedly. We bonded immediately and that’s the beautiful part. I believe, each character has their own journey and I feel if the journey is beautiful, the viewers will like it, love it or even hate it for that matter. So,as an actor, I’m eager to know what the viewers’ reactions are going to be”.

I’m very excited as this is my first stint with Star Plus. I was not doing television since while. I just finished a film with Mr. Satish Kaushik and thus I’m very excited about the whole journey.

Sharing his excitement on bagging the show, Ankit said, “Well, I’m very excited as this is my first stint with Star Plus. I was not doing television since while. I just finished a film with Mr. Satish Kaushik and thus I’m very excited about the whole journey”.

We asked the actor about the news reports on the show going off-air and if he had second thoughts because of such news, he said, “All I can say is that they were mere rumours and of what I know from the channel’s end, they’re revamping the show and want it to entertain the audience for quite some time now”.

Bathla had also played a journalist (media personnel) in his Colors’ show ‘Thapki Pyaar Ki’. Talking about the difference between both the characters, Ankit said, “Well, there’s a lot of difference. Dhruv from Thapki… couldn’t take a stand and speak for himself. He let a lot of things happen, majorly letting Bihaan and Thapki get married while Armaan Shah knows how to get what he wants. He has a strong, firm and stern stand”.

It seems so...if the TRP decreases then they may bring him back.

I simply hate this actor ,they had to bring him only.If annu never comes back i have to totally delete this show from my brain.such a waste of time.

Channel can do anything. I remember there was a show Dil toh happy hai ji in sp. When Jasmine quit the show and Donal became lead. She was promised by pH and channel that show will go on for MAX 6 months. But after her entry show was on air for 1or 2 months. And it was revealed by the actress only after show went off air and how she felt cheated. Actors also have no idea what will happen with the show.

So just want to say those want to watch they can continue and those don't they can discontinue. Everything is trp. If this revamp will not work then channel will definitely shut the show.
