For me mother's are the biggest blessing. Unki khidmat karna unka khayal rakhna farz hai no doubt. I even like to watch healthy bonds between mother and kids onscreen. But maa toh phir sabki ek jitni important hi hoti haina. Apni maa ky liye kuch bhi aur dusrey ki maa kisi khatey main hi nhi.
A husband should know how to balance between mother and wife. Jahan maa ka haq hai wahan biwi ka bhi hai.
I agree too and that's why I thought that this anger if over his mother I would understand. I would not have liked it but I would have understood. But over an inauguration? How many times we have forgotten to cancel an appointment when something serious happens? My sister when my nephew fell off school grounds was supposed to catch a flight and meet my BIL, she drove to school and no one knew where she was as she didn't tell anyone. Her husband found out she missed the flight and was not answering his calls. We all were worried and after few hours she finally responded and told us what had happened and said her phone was at home she ran in a hurry and didn't realise. Very very normal thing. Here no one thought of Zainab and she looked so unwell. How can Ushna remember to ring Shehroz and let him know, her priority was her mother and I am sure agar Shehroz hota to woh bhi yeh karta, in fact usne kiya bhi hai aur Naima was super duper fine too.
I think it is the mother's fault by not teaching their boys to give equal importance to each relationships. They are two separate but equally important kinds of love and sometimes you have to let go. But Shehroz to ghamandi aur sarphira hai -only his thoughts and only his mother matters. Rest be damned.
