I don't think it's tacky but more like she is ready for an item song rather than going to kill people for revenge.😆

Ya. It was a really good drama and i guess the only one that managed to have standard for the longest time possible. I loved Karan and divyanka's pairing. I guess it went downhill when it got shifted to 7 or 7:30. Most of the starplus 11pm shows used to stay focused on the story for the longest time as they don't want to cater to the masses.

It was one of the best serial by ekta kapoor. This serial serial brought me to IF. Ishra were my favorite onscreen couple.

Aah yes. Exactly! A man dragging a woman and going love is good, how?

Now imagine if that same stalker was a 45 yr old obese man with ugly teeth would anyone say love? That’s why I think sometimes actors have moral responsibility as well. I am glad Farhan don’t do such scenes. Shahrukh when he played a negative role his character always got punished, that’s the message. But I hate when these stalkers are being forgiven in the name of love! What love? Anything you have to take by force is not love at all.

I think pak dramas have this weird obsession with melodrama with too much negativity. There are only very few feel good, romantic, rom-com, comedy genre dramas.

But hitting, pushing, slapping that’s fine. Say a word against my mum and I will slap you and that’s okay? Very sad isn’t it? They have great actors who would do very well if given a chance.

Scenes like hugging or kissing on the forehead or being playful with each other without getting too intimate should be considered normal like the scene with shehroze being flirty with ushna in the last episode.

I have seen comments on yt criticising scenes of husband and wife just talking on bed. that is extreme level of conservatism.

Also pak dramas seems to normalise men hitting women even more than itv. In itv i guess there is more women hitting women rather than men hitting women. Even father's rarely raise their hands on daughters.

These stalkers are not are being called anti heroes and getting the girls bandok k zoor py ladki ki apni tou koi marzi hi nhi hoti i like feroze but when he plays a stalker i call him a stalker and don't go gaga over it.. its romantic only because the guy is fine looking

Yes that last episode was good and married couple are like that. Which married couple will sit a foot apart and only do eye talk. It’s not normal.

Why would it be a controversial if married people are on a bed talking? But yes could be the conservative society. You are also right ITV is more in tune to that. Specially after the #metoo and more awareness on how to treat a woman which I think they should have known but better late than never.
