Kapadia House
Sara says she'd like to join the academy, Anupama says sure - fees - 1 cup chai every day. BB chimes in she doesn't know how to make chai, Sara says she'll learn and Anu says kids should know everything.
BB also chimes in that now she's married to 'The Anuj Kapadia' she should work in higher standard, Anu says she wants to stay 'aam aurat' she wants to be self-sufficient, financially independent in whatever she is earning - she wants to keep her independence and her 'pehchan'. She doesn't ever want anyone pointing fingers that she might be a gold digger - married into a rich family for money. she is rich and yes she did win a lottery, because she found a loving caring husband like Anuj. Eventually, Anu leaves with Sara, leaving behind a fuming BB and Adhik.
They discuss that BB should also start by joining the business, he cites that Anu working and BB not, wouldn't reflect well in the family politics. BB says that he needs to get close to Anuj - GK walks in and listens in to their conversation and thinks that MaAn are so innocent and kind/loving that he'll have to watch out for them. BB/Adhik are bitter at GK kaka walking into their conversation, to which GK retorts, that it was unavoidable coz they are in the main hall and he can't knock! GK walks off.
BB again reminds Adhik that he needs to join the business and get close to Anuj, then pakhi's message pops and he has some conniving idea forming in his mind
Shah house: Bapuji/Vanraj discuss, he is looking for work/job/business - talks about his frustration - can't figure out what he is doing wrong!! Some fatherly advice from Bapuji.
Vanraj goes to the academy - says to Samar that now Anupama is so rich, she won't come to this small academy and requests Samar for a job at the academy, citing cafe is closed now. While conversing, Anupama walks in with Sara and is surprised to see him at the academy!
Sara joins the academy as a student and as an intern.
Later, anu/sara/vanraj/samar come home to find the rest of the shahs enjoying tea, there is some cute banter, anu meets kinju and sara with pakhi - Pakhi tries to hide her middle-class status by throwing in things like 'our maid is not there today' or 'your house is big, big rooms' etc but Sara it seems doesn't notice that - she has a very bubbly personality and invites them to come home hangout as they were not able to during grahpravesh. Everyone declines to go, Anu insists.
Vanraj talks to anu in a quiet tone that Pakhi has been acting up at Anu's new elevated status, Anu says she'll talk to her, but her kids are welcome to stay with her anytime, Bapuji gives his permission but again Vanraj declines.
Anuj/AB driving back to discuss 1st day and AB just hopes he doesn't fail again - Anuj wonders what failure he's talking about and AB just changes the topic to his failure in college and fear of failure
BB/Adhik walk into a dark house - and are surprised by Sara/Anu welcoming them saying Pakhi/Samar/Kinju, have come for a sleepover - BB is fuming but agrees to join - Adhik has his own ulterior motives, he is eyeing Pakhi. Anupama notices, pakhi and Adhik's behaviors - and contemplates.....
