This is so nice. I didn’t follow the show when it was on air. So missed out on all the fun.
I did catch up some of the clips on IG. ..and felt that the show needs a total revamp.. .to last long....

I never watched the OG version...just know the supporting cast and let me tell u ...except the leads...some of the supporting casts are seasoned actors and are well know in bengali TV industry.The FL had worked with Deba in her bengali show 'e amar gurudakshina'.When I saw the promo of hindi version and the OG version (someone posted in a different forum)...I felt the OG version to be much much better!! I feel the makers of the hindi version doesn't have a proper vision what to do with the show....they are all over the place!!
They already changed the story. I actually went and saw some of og show episodes to check what the hype was about because i was not getting any poitive vibes from hindi version. I don’t understand the language but still the show is enjoyable. The leads were married by 35 episodes. Sidharth’s character was very rude in og but a bit softer in hindi which is the only good thing in hindi. But other than that i found the og much better in terms of acting and execution. There were tense moments but were compensated by lighter ones. Mazak masti vala show hai.
Here I think to cater to the national audience they introduced unnecessary kidnapping and leads closeness and understanding and all that. Waise chemistry toh mujhe dikhti nahi hai unme toh never enjoyed those episodes. In my opinion they should have followed the og toh shayad trp bhi badh jaati.

promo was so nice, I thought they have the potential to make a beautiful serial, but the execution is very bad and it is moving in snail speed. side characters marriage track is going on for more than 30 episodes.
More than the supporting cast and ML, serial is not interested for audience because of execution.
Deba's talent is getting wasted.😒
Dekho...when I watched the 1st promo(not that extravagant promo playing with colors)...I felt it to be dull when compared with the OG!!Ho sakey toh OG ka 1st promo dekh lena..u will see the difference as to what I'm trying to say!! Even somewhere I found Deba to be OTT and won't say anything about ML!! But Deba did make a come back beautifully .👍🏼I don't think it's only execution but every department of the show has failed to deliver. If possible watch the daddu of OG version...he is adorable with expressions but in this remake I found the daddu to be so stiff ...with a smiley expression always chahe scene kaisey bhi ho!!😆Here is the link to the 1st promo of OG...it had stellar supporting cast...Originally posted by: Smiley3262017

I loved this outfit of her...the makers have given her good outfits till what have been revealed!! She looks so pretty!! It has Timesmusic(beside KV) as a producer ...so standard will obviously be good enough!! This is what I am saying. In og the family is lively. The halla gang is full of masti, there is cute banter between the grandparents. Bua and chachi relationship is also more friendly and fun. The dad looks and acts like owner of a business empire and not some frustrated soul. Yaha pe toh sare log sada huanmuh banake baithe rehte hain.
I don’t know how the characters were shaped because I just saw a few episodes randomly to get the feel.
This hindi director seems confused as to how he wants to narrate the story

Deba is looking so cute in this reel. Hope KV can match her because I was not impressed with his casual looks the ones that were released. We have to wait and watch.
U know sometimes even if the story is not good or going haywire....the leads chemistry keeps viewers glued.But unfortunately in this remake... that is also not found!! Chemistry ki baat toh rehney hi do ... the ML even can't act.So for what will the viewers be attracted/glued ??The director doesn't know how to conceptualize scenes...the script writer doesn't know how to keep the script crisp and relatable.... most of the actors except Deba can't act...the producer doesn't have proper vision !! Now with so many discrepancies how can a show turn out to be good!!
