he is hilariously bad that I am starting to laugh now whenever I see his scenes. 🤣 I think based on the writing, he is fulfilling the brief -- audience feedback is we pretty much hate this character and think he is a cheapo! 😂

for me, the obvious producer interference comes from the lack of will to show the character as he is -- it is like the director is forced to try show him in sympathetic light with the closeups, the background music and all the moping. are we supposed to feel bad that his love is not being reciprocated? 🤣 instead, the audience is rejecting that.

so if the director sticks to showing him as the son of raeesa and rafaqat who is exactly like them, it would not be so obvious that he is bad at acting. instead, the director is trying to do this nuanced grey character and salman saeed simply does not have the acting chops that would be required for so much complexity.

Bold, someone please tell this to the director and the Actor Salman. The guy needs a reality check. I was watching good morning pakistan with Usama ,Anmol and Salman as guests where Salman said whatever drama he does is always a hit. He meant , he is the reason for a drama to be hit. The level of delusion even in real like Sufiyan is amazing .🤣

Also , it is hilarious to see that the director uses OST only in his scenes . As if chalo OST ka bhi use ho jaega aur isko screen pe dikhane ka quota bhi poora ho jaega 🤣

thought of another point that I really enjoy about this drama:

-- the comedy of arranged marriage where neither party is too interested in the other. I love this funny dynamic of the OTP. basically they are not majboor or being forced into anything. it is an arranged marriage where the have agreed of their own free will but they were not excited about it. 😂

in many dramas, one or both of the couples will say yes because they feel they cannot go against the parent. that is what sufiyan is imagined in his head.

instead, we have a completely different setup here -- both shehroze and ushna trust their mother's judgement and ability to discern people. they are both capable of putting their foot down very loudly. but they do have concerns and fears which is rather natural because there is no cloud of love to blind their eyes and give them optimism that everything will work out beautifully.

while shehroze and ushna were initiallly skeptical, they have come around to seeing some merits in the proposal even if they have some doubts. this means they both are quietly smiling at their nikkah. no death stares or "I hate my life" type tears. instead, it is genuinely happy event for all. that dynamic feels fresh and also rather cute. reminds me of kashaf and zaroon from zindagi gulzar hai ❤️

It is pretty evident that nepotism played a big role right from the beginning with the casting. Sufiyaan I think is supposed to be at the maximum in his late 20s, from which angle does this actor look that? And seriously I have never seen such an expressionless actor. Honestly I'm sure Raeesa in her heart of hearts doesn't feel sorry for him either, just that her hatred of Zainab and Ushna overwhelms. They actually have such a good screenplay writer and dialogue writer and they waste it on such useless scenes, like what is wrong with you folks? I don't think they expected to become so popular, they just thought it will be a daily soap people will watch but its become hugely popular and its basically word of mouth not like they are hugely established actors. Btw from this week its coming only Mon-Thurs.
