I hadn't watched the promo initially but then when I read it here I was shocked and angry. I came across the promo I too didn't like it. And, you're right about Neil fans. Some of them don't bother as long as he's prioritised and isn't overshadowed by the channel.
Here the issue is Channel mixed real and reel which should not be done.
SJ is real I don’t complain but

From what I observed I feel solo Virat fans hardly have problem with Aiswarya. They feel she is his better half and that makes them forget everything.
At present they are joyously busy in praising Neil’s dance in SJ ( he deserves ) and Aiswarya for ably supporting him and doing well.
May be this feeling towards Aiswarya made them overlook the way Star insulted the other half of SaiRat,I mean Sai by not including her in promo.
Chalo koi baat nahi to each his/ her priorities.
But happy that Ayesha/Sai got her due and the reason I don’t bother.

We cannot blame them as long as they are not disrespectful to his co stars , they don’t spin fake theories and abuse his co star everyday , spread negativity about his co star and plan negative trend just to satisfy their ego . Not every Sairat fan or any other ghum fans fight for injustice done to Virat character similarly not every Virat solo fans will fight for Sai either .

To be honest it should be the channel's look out for such blunders. I'm sure they're aware of the flak Neil is receiving lately and therefore they should double check before airing the promos.
