Awesome. That's what I was looking for. :) Since you already know about Cricket's cousin baseball You should not have much trouble understanding cricket. 👍🏼

See this video. He is a baseball youtuber who lived few years in aus so he is now making baseball audience familiar with cricket. :) There are few more cricket videos on his channel.

Since you got this. Next point is the batting team hits the ball to defend the stumps. The ball when hit should not go directly to another Fielder without touching the ground. If it does, the batsman is out.

If the ball crosses the boundary using airways (without touching the ground) the batter gets 6 runs and if the ball uses roadways (touching the ground) batter gets 4. If the ball doesn't cross the boundary, the batters have to run the length of pitch to complete a run. They can run as many until the stumps are broken.

Explaing this. 😆 Third Umpire is like a Bigg Boss or CCTV. Only consulted when there is a dispute or doubt on the field. These days also used to check if the bowler is bowling within the lines.

DRS is like rechecking in exams or appealing in higher court when you aren't happy with the on field decision. If there is clear evidence the field umpire is wrong its overturned. If its not the field umpire decision stays.

DLS : IGNORE.🤪 Even expert and captains don't care about it. 🤣They just ask the analyst to handle it and inform when needed. 😆It's basically a system to decide a match unfairly fairly when there is an interruption. Involves a lot of match and stats. I obviously know it but IGNORE.

Super over : Penalty Shoot out (Tie breaker) version of Cricket. 😆 Both the team will play 6 balls each and whoever scores more wins. They actually started it like a football where bowlers have to hit the stumps and the teams hitting most would win. But the ICC thought tie breaker in cricket should be cricket related. So they started using super over.

Suyash is explaining all basics of cricket to newbies who don't know about this game. You just go through it, if already knew then good and if not then you'll get to know something new about cricket.

Best part was DLS: IGNORE..🤣

This is what exactly happens when any student ask something to the teacher which is not of their level of understanding and teacher replies Ignore it, woh tumhare level ka nahi hain😆
