The separation there looked more made up to me. I will beg to differ here 😊 The reason why I feel separation made sense is Farida (hero's mom) did not like Khirad. She was fine with Khirad and her mom till the time they kept their distance. She was also OK till the time her husband took care of her treatment. But when Baseerat (hero's dad) threatened to end their marriage if she did not give her consent to Ashar marrying Khirad, it hurt her ego because her husband snatched the right from her to decide for her son as a mother. She never made it evident. She pretended she was OK with it and even when Ashar fell in love with Khirad, she lied to her son saying that if he is happy, she is happy. But she had never forgiven Khirad for becoming the reason why her husband chose Khirad over her. She could do nothing when her husband was alive but with him dying, she got the perfect opportunity. She manipulated the situation to her advantage without anyone realising it but the hints were always there.

It made me think is that all it takes for you to doubt your Wife questioning all the series the country had to share afterwards cos that was my first Trial🤡 What I did like about Humsafar was how realistic it seemed. Ashar always had insecurities regarding Khizar and the moment he caught Khirad and Khizar in a compromising situation his mind went blank. He could not process anything and he was overtaken by rage and pain. But once he started processing things around him, he wanted to reach out to Khirad and ask her, her side of the story. But his mom lied saying she fled with Khizar. That was the final straw for him. He could not forgive her then. But despite hating her, he never moved on and married Sarah. Even in his hatred, there was love. When Khirad came back in her no nonsense avatar, he was taken aback by shock but even then he did not dwell on the fact that Hareem could not be his child for long. Somewhere he knew Khirad would not lie about the paternity of a child. This is where BALH2 screwed up 🤢 I love the scene where he tells her he forgives her himself and wants her to come back. Even then he believed the lie but his love never diminished for her. However loved the way Khirad gives him back 🤣 And Khirad forgave him not only because he apologised but because he became aware of the her truth and defended her honour. That confrontation scene between Ashar and Farida still gives him goosebumps when Ashar tells his mom that if Khirad doesn't have any proof to claim Hareem as his child, then she too doesn't have any proof to claim he is his father' son 👏 Seeti bajane ka mann kiya mera toh.

Thank God for ZGH ZGH is an easy breezy watch and I enjoyed it. I still love Humsafar better coz I am sucker for angst driven stories. Always loved them, be it Shakespearen tragedies or classics like Wuthering Heights. And even as a writer, I wrote a few. But the tragedy needs to make sense. Otherwise its pointless.

But even there, I loved how in the end too Khirad didn't really forget & got back in the love zone. She clearly stated she'll always have boundaries & is back only for her daughter.

But in ITV, they'll show Priya & Ram falling back to absolute bliss which is highly impossible in a real scenario 🙊 Yeah and thats one thing I am not looking forward to. Priya should not go back easily. Yes her family messed up big time but Ram fell weak in the face of a tragedy. But the moment truth is out, Ram will I am sorry and Priya will melt and go back 🤢

You have explained Farida's perspective well. However, that is the primary usecase in most Mother-in-law's case in both the Indian & Pakistani TV Series so Humsafar became a typical saga. I agree about Asher & Farida's confrontation though - it was done really well👏

While ZGH, I still know people who can't understand Kashaf's perspective at all. And I'm stunned at times, cos it means one truly doesn't understand the trials & tribulations she faced and why her personality was like that. Some likes it more for the Romance while it's honest life experiences portrayed for me since each character teaches you different things.

But yeah, that's my perspective & to each his/her own🤗

Eshaan was such a freak from scene 1 didn't want to see his face and started skipping and stopped watching. He is such an eshaan farmosh! He should have been clearly disciplined by his stupid family!

And even Ram Nandu Shubhu reactions look like Jatana not real love!

Arrey y will I have an issue? My best friend also likes ZGH over Humsafar. I have always loved tragic stories and that's my problem 😆 Of course its another thing I cry buckets at the end of it 😛

Oh yes! Humsafar cliche nahi, but its a cliche of cliches 🤣 I liked the execution and thats what made it so special to me. Till the time I saw Humsafar, I always used to think onscreen chemistry was romance and intense eye locks and all that bullshit. But after I saw Humsafar and I saw Fawad Mahira, I realised u don't need any romantic scenes at all to define chemistry. In fact they never even hugged in the show but boy whenever they came together, they literally lit up my screen. They were that good. And to think I found out about it coz of a siggy in one of the user's profile in IF years ago 😆 I had not heard of Pak dramas till then. One day I stumbled upon somebody's signature. I think it had images from Fawad Mahira's ramp walk and I was like wow, this is one helluva good looking pair. At the bottom I saw the names Ashar and Khirad and I googled the names and got to know about Humsafar. Also I had seen a lot of IF members use their siggies and I was curious. Started watching on Youtube and later downloaded the entire series. Loved it immensely.

ZGH had amazing characters. Complex intriguing characters and Kashaf will always be one of the best written characters I came across. I liked that too. I just said if I had to rank my fav, Humsafar will be No.1 and ZGH no. 2 but I love them both 😊 Any day I want to watch something cheerful, I will opt for ZGH and not Humsafar.

I think the initial Qubool Hai being a Superhit that time lead to discussions of Pakistani Serials as well & I saw a lot of comments/posts about both. Then I searched on Google & Boom! I was SUCKED IN THE GALAXY😳

And I initially watched it on YouTube...the buffering that time used to be Crazyyy 👀🙊 & yet I watched it all & then Downloaded both of them to keep the Gold for myself later

I still cannot understand why a mother would call her offspring illegitimate. Priya' s thoughts seems to be clouded due Shivina's accident and her priority seems to be to save Eshaan at any cost. Eshaan seemed to be complicated from start with his suicidal tendencies and other behavioral problems. Priya is definitely going to complicate things for Eshaan with her shielding mentality. The most hurtful thing is Ram doesn't come anywhere in her priorities, he seems to be in the bottom of her list.🤣🤣

The first time i watch it was the performance & they give 100% to the bad writing. The 2nd time i watch it was full on🤡with their body languages & expressions this shows how forceful & stupid it was

What i love was Priya presence of mind that even in such high voltage drama her brains works & she knows how to act upon a situation & she does not let her emotions overpower her brains. I am glad at least this was intact

Ram took his sister on his lap when actually he could driver her, why the hell he was waiting for the ambulance when he came in a car and could have brought her to the hospital by his car. At least he could have save her. He was waking her up thats something needs to be done a good move than what is that stupid nonsense he was blabbering of forensic report when he could have just drive her to the hospital immediately. I am sorry i could not connect to his emotions for the sister he treats like a daughter its cold. Instead of bringing to the hospital he was playing blame game on Priya & Soods. The moral of the story why the hell he was waiting for an ambulance when he could have drive her to the hospital immediately at least he could have save her or she would been in coma

He called Adi & just crying taking Shivi name how would Adi know why you are crying & why you call him. Does he have a telepathy its Priya who snatch it from him & instruct Adi what to do. I know he is emotional but than this is not the time its time to be practical thats what Priya did

Shivi is close to Ram-Priya but both their body languages and expression is more of cold its not what i expected from them. Now coming to Soods a death has happened that too their DIL of the house but they seem like not bothered at all🤣🤣i was like which planet aliens are they from. They are so normal as if Shivi ki maut nahin padosi ki maut huyi hai. I was laughing and even Priya was arrested they seem to care a damn🤣. The reaction was like Priya went for a picnic & they will join her the next day🤣. The only good thing it was shown here & realistic the incident has scar the kid & it affected him so hard that he got panic attacks thats believeable. Honestly more than the adults the kid give a good expression on Shivi death. He was numb & shock

Aww now come to the Kapoors they are another level whom none can match even Soods. A competition is going on who is worst family i will give a upperhand to the Kapoors because they are bloody disgusting who have pleasure destroying someone home for their own benefit. They are heartless creatures such a tragedy has happened but they use it as profit. They do not care for their daughter death too such heartless🐍. Even animals cries when they lost their kid a killer whale brings their death offspring together with them and never leave them even after death i saw a documentary on it. They are animal & thats their love for death kids but these creatures doesn't have a heart for their kid. Disgusting

Soods & Kapoors both are toxic but Soods has emotions but Kapoors they are heartless thats the difference b/w in their toxicity. They hide criminals for the love of their loved ones but Kapoors can take advantage of their own loved one death and gain profit from it🤮🤮🤮🤮. I am not justifying the Soods i am just seeing the positive side in toxicity

I was remembering in the afternoon, there was a time a few months ago when one precap took at least two weeks to come up. Priya ka accident and ram ka ilu was in ad for over a month before the scene came on the show(not even going to delve deeper into how pathetic it was as compared to ad) and even the consummation scene and then the last beautiful scene of the show till date "main light band kar doon" came as a precap almost three weeks before it was actually aired.

Now? Now its like precap baad mein aayega, episode pehle because they are in a frantic hurry to move to post leap story. Inhone itna raita failya ki now they have no option left but to simply shut the room down and open a new room... jismein pichle room ka thoda bahaut gand hoga agar hoga toh(like a few old villains, loopholes and that non sense baby thing) but hopefully they'll keep the room from getting messier this time. But still it'll be a long tome before raya get together. Toh tab tak show se apan ki chutti. Pehle bhi i only started after Raya got married. My friend got me hooked to the serial after she swooned over ram helping priya pick up her fallen suitcase.

Now i also have a doubt k they suddenly vanished the little girl from the scene... like only priya is shown shooting for post leap episodes. Chalo nakuul bechara hospitalized hai, understandable. But that baby jist vanished into the thin air. MERE MANN MEIN UMEED JAGI HAI Kahi aisa toh nahi k they chose to delete this baby thing? Probably show k proya had a miscarriage due to all the stress and then she now lives alone and away from all? Honestly i like its sound better than the ready made baby plot... thats yuck!
