Anupama was upset. The reason was of course a maddeningly cute bespectacled someone who now occupied her entire brain. The past four days he had been behaving weirdly. She had caught him staring at her with those adorably cute eyes of his multiple times. Everytime she did that, instead of shying away as usual, he just shook his head and gave a goofy smile not bothering to take his eyes off her. Today morning after he had dared to stare at her for 15 odd minutes while she was working in the kitchen, she had snapped.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing..."

"What are you looking at?"

"You..."

"I am working..."

"So?"

"You are distracting...."

"Oh really?"

He had moved really close to her making her heart race and whispered huskily

"Really....?"

She had shut her eyes and shivered as his breaths caressed her neck.

"So you do care...."

"Huh?"

She had looked up as he moved slightly away and looked at her intently with folded arms. The smug smile he had on his face made her want to throw something at him. She had walked out of the room in a huff saying that he was wasting her time and that she was late.

She had returned home in the evening hoping to see his devoted face as soon as the door opened only to be disappointed as her eyes met GK's warm smile. On inquiring about him, GK had said he was busy with some work in his room. Not wanting to disturb him, she had gone to freshen up and prepare dinner. To her dismay, he hadn't come to the kitchen to help her either. It was dinner time now and off late they had gotten into the habit of eating together. She sighed softly to herself as he still hadn't come out of his room. Wondering if she had upset him by her antics in the morning she arranged their food on a tray and slowly walked towards his room.

She saw him sitting on the bed idly gazing somewhere. He didn't notice her as she entered and she was surprised. Walking closer to his bed, she called out

"Anuj?"

He broke from his reverie to see her looking intently at him.

"Anu... when did you come...?"

"Just now... It's time for dinner... Shall we eat?"

He nodded silently and helped her set the table by his bed. Together they finished the dinner quietly. As she saw the last bit of food disappear into his mouth, she cleared her throat. He looked up.

"Sorry..."

"Huh?"

"I uh... I upset you in the morning... I think... Sorry...."

"No.... no... why.... I am not upset, Anu... what are you saying..."

She looked into his eyes.

"Really? Then why weren't you by the door when I came home...? Why didn't you come to help me make dinner...?"

His heart did a flip as she questioned him with authority... as if he belonged to her. But wasn't that the truth, his brain argued... he did belong to her. Smiling widely, he said

"Hmmmm... so you missed me..."

She started.

"I... uh... I didn't say that... uh..."

"You just did, Mohatarma... And I am sorry you missed me today... I will make sure it doesn't happen again..."

Feeling her cheeks color up at the intensity of his gaze, she got up and rushed to the kitchen mumbling something incoherent. Forgetting all his worries, he smiled smugly and followed her to the kitchen.

A/N: Yup... I am over this show. Didn't watch and didn't read any discussions. So I am converting this into a full story instead of short scenes in the Kapadia house. This will have to be read in chronological order and will have some other entries on the way. Will be a mixture of emotions, romance and angst. Experimenting this kind of long story writing for the first time. Fingers crossed. Hope you will like it.
