Amongst the rushed storyline, had wanted to see MaAn settling in the Kapadia Sadan. So satiating my want to see what might have been.. here's another take in MaAn Alternate Universe..

Scene #3

The slow and tender love-making in the early hours of the day, left a happy glow on Anu. Waking up next to him, him holding her protectively.. She beamed in happiness.

Together they had made breakfast, much to her surprise, Anuj wouldn't leave her side in the kitchen at all. He had helped and worked as equally as she did. The stolen kisses he showered, their 'accidental touches', made her blush like a teenager. The happy banter between GK and him, she had laughed her heart out..

She couldn't help but fleetingly see the stark contrast of her previous life and the present. Anuj was making it sure she forgets her past slowly and steadily..

Post breakfast he volunteered to show her rest of the house, which comprised of a family room, library, guest rooms, and studio too, the dining room attached open to the kitchen on the ground floor.. She still hadn't explored their own bedroom properly, made a note to herself to do so after lunch.

As if the bedrooms on the upper floors were not big enough, she had gasped at the sheer size of the house..

She wondered how will she manage it, when GK had called them to the out houses behing the main bungalow.

He informed them about the staff joining them from today, the one he had hired and the new Bahu should give them a token/shagun.

She asked about why so many people, she needed just a person or two to manage the house. GK and Anuj had both facepalmed at her.

GK - "tum Kapadia Sadan ki Lakshmi ho Anu, yaha tumhe sirf khana banane yaa kaam karne nahi laaye hain.."

Anuj chimed in, "Correct!! Absolutely correct GK", he held her by the shoulder, "ab tak itna kaam kiya hain, ab tumhe sirf hamare saath rehna hain and usse bhi zyada important, khud par dhyaan dena hain, samjhi meri jhalli Biwi?.."

"Aap dono ne toh sach much mujhe Shehjaadi bana diya", she choked.

"Chalo chalo ab rona nahi. Iss ghar mein pehla din roke shuru nahi karna hain.. " GK gave her his support again.

Thus she set out to give the sweet boxes and advanced salary and shagun to the army of staff. House cleaning staff, kitchen helpers, driver, gardener, security officers.. Anu felt like she would just faint in all these grandness.

GK told her, the outhouses were well equipped units made for the staff to live in. So they do not have to waste time in travelling and the house work gets done properly.. Everyone had gone to do their chores.

Anuj said one more person was yet to join them.

Just then a familiar voice called out, Anu bhabhi.."

Without even seeing her , Anu squealed in delight, "Jhilmil!!"

They ran towards each other, laughing and hugging..

"tu yaha kaise aayi?"

"Woh.. Anuj Bhai ne mujhe yaha 24 kalaak/24hours ki nokri di hain. Ab aapse duur nahi jaungi dekhna.."

Seeing her this happy, both GK and Anuj couldn't help but bask in her happiness too. The two ladies had been together in Anu's painful past.

The very next moment, Anuj was by her side. "Jhilmil iss Sadan ki manager, jo baki ke staff par nazar rakhegi, serving wagerah karegi and tumhara saath degi. Chaalse ne?"

Anu, teary-eyed, had just nodded happily.

Anu, along with Jhilmil, had shown the staff what food to make and she just did the tempering and superwising. Jhilmil set out to serve them. Soon they will fall in a routine Anu hoped..

Anuj kept coming to the kitchen on any false pretext he could think off and try to get his wife's attention or touch her.. Jhilmil teased her about it.

Lunch was another happy event of the day. Seeing Anu and Anuj feeding each other, their happy nok-jhok with GK, Jhilmil suddenly came near Anuj and folded her hands, "Anuj bhai, aap meri bhabhi ko hamesha aise hi khush rakhna ha.. bahot sahaa hain inhone.."

Anu suppressed a choke as well, "paagal chhokri. Rulayegi mujhe .. " she slapped her arm lightly..

Kaka diffused the situation by hiding the kheer bowl and blamed Anu for that. Anu used to his antics by now, played along..while Anuj tried interfering but GK and Anu ignored him, making him sulk like a small boy.

Jhilmil took a collective balaye of the cute trio.. and all three laughingly did their usual thu thu thu..

Post lunch they decided to rest a bit. Devika was coming home for tea, she had some important work with them both she had informed.

Too tired to do anymore exploring of the house, Anu had snuggled with him on the bed..

"Suno.. woh..we had our first night today.. hope tum comfortable thi.. i mean.. tum samajh rahi ho main kya kehna chahta hu woh?" He struggled for a better choice of words..

"Kal na itne saalo mein pehli baar mujhe itni achhi neend aayi.. aap jo the saath.. aur woh... woh bhi mujhe achha laga.". she snuggled closer and tight... he kissed her forehead in response..

"Waise..this is the first time i am taking a nap in a day time Anu"..

"Wahi toh, aaj toh maine kuch bhi kaam nahi kiya, aur ab aram karne aa gayi bolo.. aap aur kaka meri aadat bigaad denge. Aise hi baithi rahi toh moti ho jaungi.. "

He tightened his grip over her, "Arey baithne ke liye kisne kaha mohtarma, aapne bahot kuch karna hain, aakhir aap malkin hain.. Kapadia group of business ki, iss Kapadia Sadan ki aur iss naachiz ki aur iss dil ki Maalkin.. you won't even know where your time went off.."

Fingers intertwinned.. they carressed each other's knuckles..

"Devika ne bataya tha, tumhe kitaabe padhne ka shauk tha, gardening ka shauk hain yeh main jaanta hu..
yaha dono hain, bada sa aangan aur badi si library.. "

"Woh sab karo jo pehle tum karna chahti thi lekin kar nahi paayi.. kisne roka hain? And if you are forgetting Madam, you have to come to the office with me too.."

"Aur iss sab mein.. thoda sa.. bas thoda dhyaan mujh par bhi dey do toh meri life set ho jaayegi..," he winked mischievously..

She giggled, looking in his eyes and kissed him on and around the lips with each word she uttered, "Mera.. sabkuch... aapka.. tann bhi aur mann bhi...Thank you...Anuuuj.. I.. Love.. You.. "

He turned the last light kiss into a fiery one ..one after the other.. ..

Reeling in another union .. they had fallen in a blissful slumber together ..
