I know that this is THE Aryan Singh Rathore and he is meant to be the antithesis of Aditya so he believes in Imlie and is supposed to keep his promises.
I know all this but I get super wary and super worried when creatives have him making promises to Imlie like they have in the last 2 weeks or so. This is still an ITV show after all and I have been severely traumatised in the past.
A long time ago I used to watch this show wherein there was a groom swap at the mandap and the girl got married to the brother(later on turned out to be adopted) of her intended groom.
To make a long story short the swapped groom and bride eventually fell in love and things were beautiful and TRP was also high for a while until it plateaued at a certain level and wouldn't go up anymore and even started decreasing. So creatives decided to cook khichdi to raise it.
Before the start of almost every new track the ML would make some sweet and beautiful promises to the FL and then during the track would proceed to break every single one of them.
It became so bad that as soon as he uttered some dialogue or promise vowing to stick to or believe in the FL you knew that the upcoming track was for him to just break those promises.
We kept watching no matter how stupid it got because the lead pair's chemistry was awesome and their mini reconciliations were top notch.
Of course nobody liked the kind of stupidity the show became and eventually the show's TRP became very low and the show was finally cancelled.
My problem at the moment is that I am having these flashes of deja vu. All I can hope for is that in their desperation for trp Imlie creatives don't ruin this show in the same way creatives for that other show did. Fingers crossed Aryan Singh Rathore will stay our beloved Aryan Singh Rathore.

lmao. Pooja I love ya. Bea I feel ya. Same boat. Imlie is a show I am watching on itv after 11 years.
dejavu is pretty strong. Attachment was pretty strong so dejection and reactions r going to be equally strong. Especially when they r using a formula used 10 years ago. Also lots more options to watch these days as well. However as long as ASR remains uncompromised. We will be ok.
it’s hard to to reconcile that this is the team that gave us PD track, adini wedding and the kandhay pe teray sequences. BUt it’s like Pooja says this is itv, the story isn’t going to remain that amazing all the time. We will have up and down. Also the current scenes aren’t bad if you look at them individually however if you focus on the bacha he and bacha nahi he than it becomes a bit crazy to make sense of. So I am choosing to ignore the rest or troll the rest. And focus on the arylie scenes with the hope that we will get a better sequence soon. 😘🤞🤦🏽♀️
I noticed. People seem to be quitting left, right and centre. Not me though. Saturday's episode was really good. We did see some extreme negative behaviour but that was counterbalanced with some extreme sweetness between Arylie. I'm ok with this. If the extreme negative behaviour is there but results in closeness of my beloved couple I will keep watching. It's when the negativity seeps into everything and turns my couple against each other that I too, like the FL will pack my bags and go.

Saturday was too good. Addressing imlie's insecurities soo sweetly.
We used to discuss about this wayyy back when there was nothing between arylie, only underlying currents, and dreamt about a full fledged courtship and proper marriage (not forced)
I did leave before you know. I was totally unapproving of her earlier relationship so when they were close I was too disgusted and didn't watch. I used to pick and choose the episodes I watched.
