When we walked off the field we felt we were a bit short," says Faf du Plessis. "It was pretty challenging with the new ball, it moved around a bit. But we got through the first six without much damage. It felt like Test cricket in that first session. More bounce really. Still we felt 180 was par. I am really proud otherwise. It has been a great season for RCB. My first season to see how special the crowds have been for us. Harshal, DK< all the guys who are picked for India deserve it. I stand proud of the team even though we were not at our best tonight and against a very strong Rajasthan Royals side."There is some really nice young talent in our squad, and you have a three-year plan. That's what you look to maximise. You can see how good Rajat has been after he came in. Our fans have been the most obvious thing. You go to any game anywhere and you have RCB-RCB chanted. The guys were emotional when we heard the RCB chants even when playing Mumbai. So well done to our fans and thank you very much."

RCB as usual making the best and worst record

Siraj got hit for 30 or 31 sixes this season

He is at no. 1 for getting hit for soo many sixes in a single season.

This record also includes Bravo at no. 2 for his season in 2018

& it also has Chahal and Hasranga in top 5 list.

Why sorry😆...

Neither you were playing on the ground nor forced me to write some name on predictions, so smile and be happy for your points.

You are one of the winner for sure.

RCB probably lost this when Maxwell (probably the only player to really strike at 150+ in the game for them) got out to Boult on the last ball of his final over (the 14th over of the game)

Had Maxi stayed, he would've had another chance against Chahal and Ashwin (against whom he was doing well). Then Patidar also went, and it all unravelled from there.

Congratulations to RR, but they're very dependent on Buttler and Samson- IMO the two have some 45% of RR's runs this season.

Siraj and Kohli (two retained players) underperforming was a big reason for RCB's inconsistency.

It's not a bad squad- actually a team capable of winning the trophy if everyone plays to their potential, but they do need someone explosive at the top of the order and another Indian bowling option.
