Going by gul's standards it was good bcz it was not a show with all that saas bahu kitchen politics mostly.

Yes, there was some but the entire show didn't revolve around it and shivina was never sidelined bcz of idiotic tracks like in BALH2. The show had a very upbeat vibe to it. There were more positive characters than negative, so the entire vibe remains mostly positive.

People watch bcz of the couple chemistry and they need a fix of that in a sensible way. That gul knows how to deliver to her audience.

Gul does provide more Romance then drama unlike EK whose shows thrive only on same old drama and almost no consistent couple progression.

I don't regret falling in love with this show at all. It has given me friends for life❤️

That show had its fair share of crappy days too but they never deterred from the story much. They from the beginning set a tone of the show and that was maintained till the end. That show had a very young vibe and it was always there in the acting, direction, script and dialogues.

No matter how much drama was going on but that show always made you laugh, their couples actually went through a detailed and extensive process of ups and downs before they fell in love and started trusting each other whole heartedly. It wasn't like ek din kuch and agle din kuch. There was some consistency in the progression of couple chemistry. Also they never gave shivika scenes as lolipops. Yes some shivika scenes were out of context but most made sense according to characterization since shivay was a very complex character.

Raya doesn't really have any story progression sub kuch read between the lines type hai starting se which doesn't make sense to 90% audience.🤷

i remember even there whenever we got Shivika moments, we expected more romance but there was always Somone butting in. Tried to give examples but have forgotten all their names☺️

yes indeed, you are right. Which is where they wanted her to look like typical ITV FL’s since they could not change her drastically, they did some small changes, the eye sore Wig, and the garish pink eye and lip makeup. 😡😡😡

Ofcourse in the beginning the brothers will come in or someone but scenes with rudra and om only added to the bonding they four shared.

And there were so many shivika scenes and yet it felt like it's not enough but here in balh2 romance is almost non existent compared to IB. And so much ott dialogues in every episode.

Shivaay used to romance her even in stress and drama. Yes, there were some parts in the story that were very troubling being it a gul show but still they had better chemistry and understanding then Raya which did not happen over night and didn't go away over night.

As i said a very detailed progression with ups and downs. It's just IB had very teenagery vibes and people like tirchi, doodle, cooldoc won't be able to sit through it now since they have pass through that phase. Gul caters mostly to young audiences.

I had so many hopes from balh2 being mature and pathbreaking, i thought something modern, urban and realistic will hit us and make us fall over but alas!! It's was a day dream.🤷
