In agree Kitty, very few things can be as toxic. But it's the same makers, they have the capacity to make it as toxic. After all, they're the ones who ruined shah parivar too. There was no need to make them that toxic in the first place.
I real life there are such toxic families. I am okay with them being shown as toxic. But what is the message? That you can get away with such toxicity? That a woman has to love her ex MIL in such a way that she would magically turn upside down one day? Just because she is not literate that means she has to tolerate all such humiliation though she is educated. (Literacy and education are different things. One can be illiterate but educated imo)
And then you show so many things in prequel but dont want to address any triggering topics. In spite of showing all that, the hero is a good father to his kids. If being a good father means just spending on studies or spending money on required things. Sorry not taking that. There was not a single instance where I felt he has been a good father.
