Episode 382 : Pheras, Sindoor, Mangalsutra

Starts off with MaAn talking about Sammaan and how they will do everything together, yes there will be fights, arguments, and difficulties and ups and downs in life but they'll face them togther.

Then Meenu says, everyone is here except Mamu (Vanraj), and lo and behold Vanraj walks in with a bouquet of orchids, wishes them, and says," I listened to Kavya, today I will not argue, fight, I am here to wish you both the best."

Anuj points out that now that we have to jhalofy this to saath milkar jhalengge - the family tree is already complicated - but Anu and I will tackle this together. Anuj/Vanraj shake hands.

Family photo time

Devika brings a drink for Vanraj and cheers to a new beginning but reminds him that 1 small gesture does not give you redemption for all the past deeds.

The 3 kids run to the mandap and fix anything that in disarray, saying everything needs to be perfect for Mom's wedding.

Anuj and Anupamaa walk in - and as soon as Anuj takes of shoes, GK kaka takes them and keeps them in a bag, the kids say, that this is old tradition now the new trend is to steal the mobile! and Viola, the kids did steal it - Toshu: AAj kal sub ki jaan phone mein atki hai

Anuj: Nahi meri jaan to Anu mein atki hai

but then goes to say I do need the phone and they ask for 51K and gives in 81K

Wedding begins:

Baa and Bapuji do the kanyadaan

here comes Baa's redemption: Says she never treated Anupamaa as her daughter-in-law neither as a daughter, but the goodness of Anupamaa created an unsaid bond and today I can't stop the tears from flowing.

Rakhi ben also crying -

New ritual: Mummy Daan

All three kids come up to the stage and give their mom away, say that parents give daughter away, but in this new ritual, we are giving our mom to you, to take care for life - Please keep her happy.

ELSE - you know Shah family's level of drama -

All the 3 kids do the gath bandhan and the pheras start

Ofcourse there has to be drama: We can't forget Vanu - RS's best friend - Samar trips and is about to drop the sindoor container and guess who is there to catch it!! None other than TrashRaj!! zoom zoom - Anyways ignore hose 30 seconds - he says, koi baat nahi, kuch nahi bigda, saab thik ho jayega

Anuj proceeds to apply sindoor on Anu's forehead and then comes the mangalsutra - both are extremely happy - steal away some happy private moments - winking and all:)

Vivah Sampann hua - Panditji declares them husband and wife

The newlyweds take blessings from all the elders

Baa trying for redemption today - she says: I had the best motherinlaw and the best daughterinlaw! (Video attached)
