The promos were sheer beauty, directed by Gajaraj Rao. Honestly only first 10-15 episodes of BALH2 up till Pri signing the contract matched that vibe to some extent !!

The stupid prawn drama combined with annulment track which was stretched like a chewing gum infinitely , marked the debacle of BALH2 . Since then it has been some isolated RaYa moments ( Ram's health scare , birthday ending scene n Diwali being the best ) or rather lollipops in the middle of cheap planning and plotting like a typical ITV soap , the story was no longer of 2 mature individuals set up in the backdrop of urban loneliness as promised by EK .

I made an IF account around sep last year only for this show, was a silent reader of IF but no character or story acted like a muse for me to pick up the pen and write . Then came a simple girl wearing a yellow kurti , hair tied in a pony tail, eyes gleaming with conviction and confidence, upright posture, no nonsense attitude , straight forward, brutally honest and fiercely independent , yet there was a melancholy in her voice , when she looked at the rain and said " I m ok, everything is ok, humme khush rehne ke liye kisi ki zaroorat nahi hai ". That's it , I was smitten by this girl called Priya Sood, in fact I think it was love at first sight . Something in my heart broke when she said that , and I had to join this place to share my views .

I never thought I would write a FF or OS , all thanks to the beautiful love story of Raya for igniting my imagination .

It is the effect of the beauty of initial episodes that's not allowing me to call it quits . Something in me is still hoping for a revival knowing very well it ain't happening .

Leap with separation or kid is surely the last straw of BALH2 for me .

It's getting boring and redundant with the way the plots are written. Ram emotionally weak in front of his family and Priya turning into mahaan!!! Ram could see thru Krish's likeness and inclination towards Priya from his conversations, but he cannot see through N's intentions when her conversations clearly point out to her selfishness and detachment to Ram. It's repetitive when it is shown Ram being dumbed down and tongue tied in front of N !!! It seems like VK has weighed him down with promises regarding his stepfamily that he cannot see anything beyond it. I still hope they show VK as grey!!!

I don't see anything good about Ram's dad, same as MM!!

@bold: I think they will show him grey, that way both Eam and Priya are same and he does not get to enjoy a high moral standing with her that his mahaan father was killed by her tuccha 2 Rs father.

you know the moment I read yesterday that it as Gajraj Rao who directed the promos, I thought had I known it earlier I would have never started watching the show… coz there was no way they can match that standard with the usual ITV directors and this was proven with the accident & Kachori kaands…

although i agree up to the KC they were able to keep up to it… but they had upped the ante of negativity so much that I had to take anti acidity pills after the episodes to relieve the heart burn.

they should have known, the audience who will get attracted to the show with such promos is not the usual ITV audience, the most basic thing they teach in marketing is know your clientele do these ppl not have this much samanya gyaan… why waste your time as well as ours when the writing was clear that you could have never delivered what you promised 😡

I watch the scenes again when Priya confess he was more shock & sinking in because this was something he did not expect at all. The emotions of Ram flows when he hugs Priya his eyes were moist.

He could not believe his ears when she confess first than when he hugs her he sinks in the feelings

The issue was more of jumping straight to the case it did not got that time to sink in properly because they are rushing but Ram did reacted when he hugged Priya

At first the story was slow, but the music kept me going …. And by the end , I had such a feel good watching it… yeah, there were few gripes with that too… but somehow they managed to address them by the end of the series and gave a lovely closure…

The dramatic concepts explored were also sweet but simple and showed the contrast of the worlds of Anuj and Gauravi( I love their names in the series)

… and all through, the narrative was never stalled. Every episode had a definitive purpose. And I loved that !

Coming to balh2, they seem to be course correcting… last week was a dull one .., hope it improves! 🤞
