~The Bride~

In a kingdom far far away there lived a widowed Queen and her beautiful daughter. From a very young age, the little princess loved to dance around the palace garden. Her beauty was unparalleled and her joyous spirit made everyone in her presence light up. Everything was warm and sunny until one cold winter's day an evil sorcerer stepped foot inside their castle. The Queen welcomed him in mistaking him for the Prince who was destined to be her daughter's husband. The Princess, too young to understand what was happening, obeyed her mother and left with the sorcerer on his horse. As the sorcerer reached his castle, the little Princess leaped down from the horse and twirled around at the thought of being the queen to his castle. Alas, she was mistaken, she was not to be the Queen... but the slave. And so she worked away for 25 years never seeing the light of the sun longing for love until one day a bolt of lightning hit her. People thought that was the end of her but how wrong they were. She rose up, like a Phoenix from the ashes and broke down the walls of the dungeon she had called home. As the rays of the sun hit her, she finally breathed in clear fresh air. Being a true royal princess at heart, the sorcerer hadn't been able to quench her spirit. The brave warrior princess fought every obstacle thrown her way with the help of her soldier son and wise counselor friend. She was more than ready to walk the entire world alone in the path she had paved, but destiny had a different idea. Along the way, she met the Prince who had been late 26 years ago. It was not love at first sight for her but as they warred against enemies together, she slowly started to know his place in her life. If falling for him meant battling herself, marrying him meant battling the world.... but being the strong, brave, honest, kind, good and dignified warrior princess that she is, she won all the battles... and that is how she is sitting here... as the bride...
