If imlie makers read this, have a request for them instead of the usual saas bahu, vamp show, can they focus on real life issues?? Show Imlies journey and how she becomes a strong women and then goes back to pagdandiya and bring about changes (water related, environment related, education or promoting local handicrafts). ASR and Imlie can become a powerful couple who can make audience love them for years and even arpita can join them in bringing people attention to real life issues and also practical solutions. And throughout this can also show how their love, understanding is growing as couple with cute scenes to keep us entertained too. Though many shows are being made with female leads but there are very few shows where they actually focus on real impact on society. Two ladies from same family coming from different backgrounds ( imlie and arpita), instead of wasting time in bhabhi nanand drama, unite to bring about important societal changes. And ASR proves to be supportive and understanding as always:)

Currently, ITV needs a major trend breakers to get into the genre of more realistic shows. If a realistic show get successful in terms of TRP, other shows will follow the lead. Hopefully, we will get there someday. A finite show with realistic story🙂

That would be Imlie’s story in real life. Here on ITV, high voltage drama is everything. In real life, Imlie would have gone to college, made friends, and write some great articles as a freelancing journalist. Narmada, Arpita,Sunder, Aryan and Imlie would have been a happy family with no one getting kidnapped or hurt every other week.

I somewhere feel people are also to be blamed and the way trp system currently works . Its not like no channel tried to show nice realistic dramas but they just doesn't work. Star also tried to bring some great shows but they tanked. Egs are POW . It was such a beautiful finite show starring bollywood actors but never got more than 0.3 trps. They also brought dahleez, everest ,. Sumit sambhal lega but all these shows eventhough were brilliant , never actually clicked and had their niche audience.

We can't actually fault channels . Now this has become viscious circle.

People want channel to role out good content , they do, doesn't work out end up going to tried tested formula and they get results.

Till the time audience don't start accepting good content ,till that time we are stuck in loop.

But for little mercies audience taste is progressing in a way that they now reject to accept FL going to jerk of ML and want her to move on with supportive partner like anupama and imlie.
