I did watch that show and it was a decent watch. But that's not why. For me, part of the appeal of Indian television love stories is the family bonds we see - the merging of two families.

The domesticity added by Narmada, Arpita, and Meethi's support always made me smile. Part of the reason I saw Aryan and the Rathores as a better fit for Imlie was the way Narmada and Arpita understood that Imlie is 19, she's vulnerable but she's growing and just saw her as someone independent to Aryan - at times arguing against Aryan for her. Even when I was mad at Aryan or Imlie, I was glued to the tv because I saw their families being wholesome and kind. I saw acceptance and respect, and that's why I could feel myself wishing for an ITV hero at times (which we all know can be the epitome of toxic masculinity and glamourize anger). So if Arpita and Narmada change and leave her side for no good reason, I'll see no difference between them and the Tripathis.

That's also why you'll barely find my posts on the Imlie forum without any Arpita, Narmada, or Meethi mentions/comments.

One of ASR’s initial dialogues was - Waqt aur Halaat bekaar mein badhnaam hota hai. Bhura toh insaan hota hai..

Going by that, did Narmada always had it in her to be mean & rude and it wasn’t just the circumstances or time or BM’s / Jothi’s vamp act.

I dont know about this shows but I just watch a some shows on and off....even in MHRW MIL is supporting her widowed DIL...even though she was her 2nd MIL but she was upset with her for a few days fot her daughter fiasco but she didnt cross the limits like this....and support her didnt get manipulated and mistrust her DIL for others....but the show end abruptly so cant say...

I loved Ronit Roy as Mr. Bajaj like that was my OTP. I only watched some KZK2 scenes, b/w Parth and Erica (bc I am a huge fan of both) and the scenes b/w Erica and Cookie so I can't speak to Karan Singh Grover's performance.
