During childhood, as i had not much understanding...my relatives used to scare me that it is not healthy...it is made form weird things... doubting sabudana is vegetarian or not??

Then gradually understood...we eat it during fasting

I love Sabadana khichadi...not kheer....

Ya...so true... Even i u have heard such weird stories... Used to think its not vegetarian because of that.... Then mom explained it vegetarian else we wont be using at home and also mumbai mein it always used to be there for ekadasi.... And all fasting days.... So dhadhi mom used to make sabudana kichadi... Sabudana vada and kheer ofcourse....

I too dont like sabudana kheer....sabudana Kichadi and vada my fav....
