I have always believed Dhara is indeed the centre of the universe for Shiva, and nothing can match the beauty, purity and love of their bond. Shiva had always been tethered to Dhara in a way that no one can match. It’s a journey they both take. She is tied to Shiva even before she became Gaumbi’s wife. I have written essays about them and still find them the most endearing when they are around each other.There’s no Dhara Vs Raavi because both share very different bonds and places in Shiva’s heart.

One has Haq on him, the other one his Haq
One is his light, the other his shiddat

One his Puja, another is his entire obsession.

TheIr equations and dynamics are very different.
If we see Shira hugs, they are mostly about coddling Shiva by Dhara or Shiva clinging onto her like a petulant child. They are beautiful. Like a nurturer and a doe eyed boy who could move mountains for her.

Also, does the age difference change feelings or nurture? Does wearing a backless blouse anyway indicative of changed feelings? Dhara looks good in her dresses, and no woman needs to be shamed for it.

Coming to Shivi, their hugs have the most interesting journey. From Day 1, Raavi hugs him without a care in the world and Shiva is always hesitant. That’s their equation. He would look at his hands and slowly give in to the temptation for caressing her back. The moments are so minutely embedded in their journey. Shiva is a pile of emotions when it comes to Raavi and their complicated nuances make them special. Their love isn’t

the Typical ‘run-of-the-mill’ romance. That's what I still like about them. The day they start behaving like ordinary romantic couples is the day I would probably lose interest. Their journey is so beautifully decorated with every possible spice.

Unpopular opinion, but I love the Shiva-Dhara bond and shall always do so. The show is written Chiefly from their point of view.

Shiva-Raavi are a couple, while Shira is a platonic and familial bond. It's like comparing apples to oranges! 😳

The show may be foolish most of The time but it's heartwarming to watch it from day 1. I have watched it each day; I may have stopped coming here, but I love the show and all its characters, some not so favourite, some okay. But, the show has heart!

While I agree to some part of it & some of this is beautifully written but this might look good on paper but it's not looking good on screen in my opinion (or many) but it's okay everyone has an opinion..

But what I understood from all this is that they ARE going overboard with these hugs.. I've seen & experienced being in platonic relationship with someone where you can be their center of universe.. But it's not coming out on screen...

There is no comparison of Dhara & Raavi surely but I would say there's a lot that transpire what we write on paper & what comes on screen..

I've always said this that Dhara's character is very good on papers but in my opinion Shiny is not being able to do the justice to it.. That's why these nuances are not getting out.. Surely wearing backless blouse & age difference shouldn't matter much but in reality it does.. Especially on screen your get up & look helps a lot in connecting with character,thats why in arts like drama & dance makeup & costumes play a major role.. bcz the character makes us go with the journey with them.. We try to find our everyday person in them & try to relate that character with them.. For me shiny as dhara fails to evoke this connection..

For Raavi.. It's absolutely true that this show is not written from her POV & yes on papers Raavi is not that strong character but Alice's understanding of Raavi & her depiction is so good that you can't help but feel every emotion of her.. You want to see her point of view, you find yourself in her & her emotions hurts you personally.. I've experienced it.. I've tried to consciously make effort to not get hurt due to Raavi's hurt.. When I don't get Raavi's POV.. I get a void in myself..

I think that's the main problem happening with this show.. They are trying to show from Dhara's point of view but viewers aren't getting connect with her (mostly, not just me but I've seen everyone in my family especially & many others) & viewers are getting connected with Raavi but aren't getting her POV & it's letting them down..

You can't make love someone by making other disappear.. That's what Pandya store makers are trying to do.. They know the fact that audience is more connected with Raavi but they are making her disappear & trying to shove dhara in our face so that audience love her.. That's not how it works, especially in my case.. I would rather leave watching the show..
