See, jese priya ka crush Krish tha in college some 15 yrs ago same way Krish can also have admiration for her 15 yrs ago. But people move on.
There is no doubt that Krish admires her, but don't we all want to know more about that mysterious person in our daily lives that we see around ourselves who doesn't get mixup with anyone?
As Krish was always interested into journalism and solving mysterious, that means he was observative of his environment and priya was a puzzle for him and still is as pointed out in the golf game. Ram has somewhat solved priya but for Krish she is still that Priya from 15 yrs ago. He doesn't know her personally hence the intrigue in him.
He can't understand how a closed off person like priya who would not pay attention to anyone got married to an extrovert billionaire and is happily married too.
Also this third angle is for people who enjoy this thing as pointed out by doodle and me so many times before. That not everyone is as interested in the screenplay, but like to see how a third character affects a couple, so they add some scenes to keep the TALAB alive of every kind of audience.
But one thing that is noteworthy of this show is that no matter whichever audience the scenes are written for. All the scenes if not taken at there face value only, are tightly written to foreshadowed the past and the future tracks. Every dialogue has a meaning to it. We just need to find it.
And this Krish angle is to confuse half the audience, so they get caught into this will he won't he Circle when in reality he will never come between Raya.
Pri was a teenager when she had a crush on Krish. We all have these experiences, more or less, either we had a crush on someone and or someone had a crush on us. I see Ram in a different light here. He is not jealous of Pri, but he leaves no stone unturned to take advantage of this information whenever he gets the time. But, on the other hand, I found Pri more justifiable today when she left the conversation the moment the dining table scene came up rather than in the bakery when Kirsh brought Vedika's name up. How many of us get cozied up with our crush(es) after 15 years? No One. When Vedika and Neeraj couldn't do anything, then Krish had no chance. He was brought there only for spice for the general audience and for us to see through the tracks, both past, and future.
Yes, as Ritu said, for Krish, Pri is more of an enigma. He wants to solve that puzzle, given his interest in decoding. He might have admired her in college, but he could not harbor feelings for her for so long unless he knew her personally. This is just unrealistic. Ram's case was completely different. Nandini and Vedika, along with Shashi, made sure he never came out of that enchantment he had for Vedika. These two tracks are very different if you view it from different perspectives.
I agree that one thing is common between the general audience, hyperventilating Twitter kiddos, and IF members is that we all love to fulfill our daily dose of Raya's TALAB in Raya ke TALAB.
Yes, as I always say, no one will give the actors free money to act rubbish dialogues. If not all, 95% of their dialogues are meant for the story. I cannot talk about other series, but there are many trashy shows. Given the collective intelligence of the audience of BALH 2, I can say the screenwriters have to take our interest seriously. Yes, the loops are closing, the symbolisms are working, the tracks are merging, and the metaphors are being fulfilled, so yeah, BALH 2 does have good screenwriters. I also agree that other parameters do affect: like NM's unavailability, TRP, some other issue with production, not to forget Covid - these all do need to be addressed, and hence we see discontinuity in the scenes.
Not only the Krish angle but MS angle is also used as a warning from the very beginning. He is projected as evil, which he is, but we need to see beyond this facade which the majority of the audience will not even care to think. Hopefully, we see better treatment once NM is regular on set; till then, they need to fill the void with other actors.
Am I happy with the current treatment of the episodes? No, not entirely. I see many loopholes, which many may miss, unlike the green pillow fiasco in editing or the car scene on Friday where they flipped it to night, and the leads were talking in almost zero lights. They need to be serious if they want to be hired by other production houses. This is their job, and they are building their resume. So, they better be serious about their work!
