How I wish the show was just this … without the continuous hurdles in their path.

As bana and Armansara said… can’t they have simple, lovely positive stories about each of the friends… so tha show can become something like the group and their tracks… why the drama….

They made such a beautiful love story into a hurdle race… just to show that isne these two were made for eo so they fought against all odds to be together… while the idea was good… it could have eve explored and executed differently, like MU’s as they did not understand eo… the car scene after the marriage.. where he thinks she is taunting him… or their first night together when he trips and falls and thinks she did it on purpose… those were moments just between the two of them…

And they could have come to know eo through simple gestures like when Ram overheard her converse with someone at their engagement, who thinks Priya is staff…

Why the Kachoris and saarees… why why why

Next time they think of making something like this.. I hope they think of a finite series

You know, I don't even begrudge the murder/mystery plot. All I wanted was good progression. They could've easily done all the things you mentioned and THEN moved on to murder mystery.

there was a FF like this… where the selfish Kapoor’s go on a trio and Nandini asks Ram to stay back to take care of Shubhu’s new business… Priya also decides to stay back and then they go to Ooty… wish something like this happens on the show… one week full Raya ❤️

I bought A Thousand Splendid Suns book.

"One could not count the moons that shimmer on her roofs, Or the thousand splendid suns that hide behind her walls.”

This line in one of the book reviews reminded me of Priya + plus I saw Disha talking about this book in sm iv + remembered people quoting it here in EDT

So I couldn't resist my temptation to buy this book ..

Hopefully it will be a good read

I wholeheartedly agree! It was supposed to be their journey. Those old episodes were a class apart. How they have portrayed Ram there - even though he drum-rolled about loving V unconditionally but his actions spoke volumes as to how much he wants Pri in his life - her one gaze, her one attention, her fasting for KC even after throwing the annulment papers to her, her waiting for him for dinner. He was so confused with his own thoughts and the turbulence his heart was experiencing. He never really did realize when he fell in love, bit by bit. She is the ONLY one who openly shunned him and he couldn't take it, at all. Even that time also Pri realized his - "muh phula ke baithna" and it was so evident on KC episodes. He threw the annulment papers at her still wanted her to fast and telling her to stay back till the new papers come. He didn't even have the courage to tell her - "Please don't go."

I really wished this would have been a finite series so I could have returned to watch it many time like I do for North and South, Ask Laftan Anlamaz, Zindagi Gulzar Hai.

Waking up at 6am on a B/H for this☺️

READ IT! Read Mariam and Laila! Read them. The journey will make you cry, but please please read it!

I love watching the KC episodes with Ram's grudge over why Pri is not fasting for KC and his inability to ask her directly. So, when he touched her hand and figured she has a fever and the way he lifted his gaze slowly to look at her face was one of the most favorite scenes of them for me, hands down. ❤️

Same here the KC scene… in the window is the most aesthetic and beautiful scene for me… nothing said but all conveyed… so beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
