What's ailing Virat Kohli? Not a lot if you want to trust Sanjay Bangar.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore head coach has stressed that the former captain will soon emerge out of the tough phase and "in the coming crucial games, he'll help (the team) win".

Bangar also spoke about Kohli's mental toughness to help him emerge out of a run that's seen him score 128 runs in nine games at an average of 16 so far in IPL 2022.

But when will the rut end? Kohli has looked out of answers to the challenges being thrown at him and that's had a cascading impact on RCB's performance.

However, it'll be harsh to say Kohli's lack of runs is the only reason for RCB's wobbly run.

Early dismissals have meant RCB's designated spin hitter - Glenn Maxwell - has had to battle against pacers in the powerplay and that resulted in a couple of low scores.
