Ram is a kind of person who values emotional connect as much as biological bond, it is obvious from the way he treats Sood family. If Ram is indeed not related to Kapoors, he will feel more indebted to them because he will think they gave them the security and belongingness of family even without any biological relationship. I wouldn’t be surprised if he leaves his entire property to them as a payback for VK (&Nandu) raising him.
