Also, speaking from a creative POV, we were never shown her picture - which makes it convenient for CVs to introduce a new actress as her character if they wish to take their story along those lines

@green - me too! I was worried MS is gonna instigate Varun so much that he'll break and admit that he doesn't love Ishaan. But I'm so, so glad it didn't happen.

You don't need to be related by blood to love someone unconditionally!

Y’know, I always found that very odd. Clearly Ram’s mother did not die in childbirth. She may have died when was quite young & he may not remember her much to recall her in his memories. But even then won’t a person keep his dead mum’s photo somewhere in the house, out of respect if not remembrance? Chalo, he was sensitive to Nandini’s feelings. Phir bhi he cld hv kept in his room or drawer?

Also, someone, presumably his dad, has told him some stories of his mum incl kangan, mahasivratri puja etc. So he will have some memories at least from those stories. But it is as if his dad gave birth to him, his mum doesnt exist in his world.

All the parallel that are drawn in the show say Ram is similar to eshaan the way they both had no expectations from the world and how close was with his dad. So dnt think it's Ram Priya mirroring vk nandu.

Ram was more close to his dad because he didn't have his mother around. Same as Eshaan.

Vk and Varun are in parallel, because they both loved their son even though they didn't share any blood relation.

I am not sure if it was ever mentioned on the show that Ram's mother died and that is the reason of her absence.

But I don't think there is any way Eshaan is related to Ram by blood. They are just drawing parallel.

The exact same thought crossed my mind. Krish could be the father, did not want to come face to face with Sara esp since her husband and kid are there. Krish ki bhi math kharab hai if he is the father and was going around with Sara 13 years ago.

That's true though!!! I've also found it very odd that there are no pictures of his mum.

Matlab Ram aur Priya ke bedroom mein bhi, all photo frames have pictures of Nandini/Shivi/Shubhu and his Gang.

Not having even a single picture is very strange
