This is an important movie for women empowerment in India. No BW actress has ever done such a female led action movie like a Resident Evil. It's looking totally dhaakad from the promos. I hope it is successful 🙏

What is so great about Resident Evil friend that this becomes something path breaking?

We have already had women based action movies, even if they did not meet with success - Akira, Naam Shabana, etc. Why does everything have to be a "first time ever" deal

The movies you mentioned didn't have this kind of all out stylized action with a unique concept. This looks like a Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel. Sleek.

Not sure how that helps with women empowerment, but thats cool ! I dont think anything Kangs can do will ever contribute to women empowerment, considering how awful she has been to the women in the movie industry in general with her twitter/insta posts repeatedly demeaning her peers over everything from looks to their love life to their careers

We are talking about on screen here. If Dhaakad becomes a rage and actually cool, it will empower other women of Bollywood to star in such movies and filmmakers to make such movies. Women can then demand equal pay like men just like in corporate field. It will give a lot of confidence to every girl out there.
