If the CVs cannot do fact checks on science topics, they should not bring it to the show!!! They cannot makeup their on scientific theories for the sake of the show! Priya who was so independent and self reliant is now depending on Ram for everything, even she looks ok with Ram shouldering Sarah's family's expenses!!!! WTF!!! Priya had problems even taking help with her transportation, leave alone 5% shares, now seems to have no issues with Ram spending his hard earned money on her sister and family!! Helping them is ok, but this? I thought Sarah owns the bakery and doesn't even pay the loans for it, so where is the money from the bakery going?

Pri was shown to be having a slight change of expression when Ram said he will pay for Ishaan’s studies, I think she will bring it up when they are alone.

Yesterday, Ram impressed me with his science skills. Few days back he impressed me with his Maths skills. He is very much interested to learn new things eg:- about planets. No one is there to teach him. Self-learner

Same case with MM. No words to describe her skills, I think even she knows to ride an auto which was passed on to Priya just like khandani stuff which we pass on to the next generation

Priya was taught by MM while Ram was not so the difference

So my DP will not change :D

Agree here, our moms and even to a certain extent we are conditioned to let the male take the lead. Patriarchy is so ingrained in us in some form or the other that we will not fight for ourselves. As a woman I will let many things slide even though I know my husband is not right but when it comes to my child I will fight tooth and nail. Same case for my mom, If my dad would say anything against my mom I would be ready to defend her .Women usually try to be the peacekeepers and want to avoid creating a negative environment (ITV being the exception here) .

That gives me shaanti regarding them not turning Pri into typical ITV bahu. Though hopefully this was a one time thing and she will bring Ram back to ground soon. There's no harm in a wife complimenting her husband but in this case Ram is always being shown as great by everyone and by contrast Pri was the only person who saw him as a mere man who does good things but isn't an actual God.

I guess that's why they dialogue irked me a lot. I do love they are both standing up for each other, I would just love to see more scenes like that police wala scene in jab we met lodge. Where Priya stood in front of the police and defended her husband.(a good role reversal of the usual trope of hero saving heroine ki izzat in such situations)

For MS, I blame Meera entirely. I remember even in early episodes, Meera was scolding Pri when Pri taunted MS. This has probably happened all their life.

So the sisters and Priya are hesitant and not good at confronting MS. Because Meera demands they still respect him for being their father 🙄🙄🙄🙄

That's why I guess he has the audacity to exist in their lives.

I am not a regular serial watcher, so don’t know what is the typical TV bahu, but Priya is different from the leads of the few shows I have seen, usually FLs are self sacrificing mahaans which I don’t want for Priya.

I think all they are trying to show is that her sharp edges are softening because Ram and their relationship.

W.r.t MS, in a way I understand her, it is tough to digest such venom from someone who is supposed to love you unconditionally, but time and again MS proved that he is a lowly human being, his behaviour or treatment should not be given any importance at all. If her mother is restricting Priya from giving it back to MS, she should make her mother understand not the other wat around,

oh god, this is something I forgot. In S1 Ram saved Priya in some shooting incident by putting himself in the middle (they were separated then), seeing Priya’s condition while Ram was in surgery, Rajat (the supposed 3rd angle) realises Priya still loves Ram and go off with a sad background song,

May I add here. Everyone including me questions why MS is allowed in the Sood house even after they know that he tried to kill Ram. It’s more of a conditional habit. MS was in their life for several years as the father, his womanizing was exposed when Priya was a teenager. He has always been feared by the Sood women as he was in charge. You can compare him to a locality ka gunda who has a hold over the residents of that locality. It’s a relationship based on intimidation and these women have faced this all their life. Priya is the one who exposed him so he has special animosity towards her and after her disillusionment the person whom she used to look for support has fallen off the pedestal. I agree with your perspective, but from the time the show started we are witnessing various ways MS attempted to destroy Pri’s life
(from trying to stop the wedding to murder attempt on her husband), bad mouthing and giving curses is one thing, but actively attempting murder and causing severe injuries? Every species has this motherly instinct where they go any length to fight the threat to their cub’s life, why doesn’t Mm have it is our question. Aside from Priya, Mm also claims Ram as her son, and it is proved that MS tried to kill him (more than once), letting MM stay when Ram was at the house and even going to the extent of preparing to send him off (she would have done it if Pri didn’t stop it), what one can infer from it, that Ram & Pri’s lives doesn’t matter to her?

Changing your DP (or not) is your choice, but I can guarantee that Priya is more know-it-all than Ram 😂.
