It was a catch 22 situation-

ugh. the bakwaas of BK is never ending. how can V watch BK throw such conditions at Sai and not ask her to STFU. V is saying bahu instead of doctor knowing that Sai would pick being a doctor but he didnt want her to leave as he imagined in a dream sequence- so he has made it seem that she will comply with the wishes of BK. As always he has chosen to be mute instead of publicly berate BK. He is an IPS OFFICER! Why do the makers forget that. he needs to stop bending to this rubbish from his archaic family and just say- F off, WE are 2 consenting adults who love each other and we DONT care about your stupid shartein. Instead of trying to be diplomatic and doing damage control for this GFSaken farce of a family. why this constant tactics of being quiet and allowing them to say nonsense. What is the point of indirectly forcing her to marry in this manner- once again- UNHAPPY! The first time she got married she did that in the grief of her fathers death and now she is in the grief of potentially losing her identity because of all the roadblocks they will throw Sai's way. He may intend on supporting her- i mean majority of us knew he would, but ultimately his method of pulling this off is NOT ok. Instead of him trying to figure out tactics of pleasing all, its better he sticks to being on the path of righteousness. Kya hojaayega if ITV chooses to be bold and show a husband walk out with his wife because his gharwaale are harassing his wife and not supportive of her career and dreams.

I honestly prefered Virat's dream version of Sai stating loud and clear that she chooses to be a DOCTOR and walking away.

If I wrote this, I would have made V say voh BAHU nahi sirf BIWI banegi- MERI and I want to see her as the worlds best doctor.

He has no plan yet. Just like he had no plan when he did the shruti kaand. He just decided that he needs to do damage control and focus on Sai being bahu first and baaki dekha jaayega. He cant have a plan- he is not that sharp. And he will support Sai-sure, but ultimately the whole CN clan will harrass Sai to no end in the process like they always have. And in real life it is such families that kill the dreams of women who have aspirations . It happened with Ashwinis education. I have been told how my aunt- a doctor had to give up her career because she could not cope with the amount of pressure and roadblocks put by her in-laws.

When they take cinematic liberty to give us full dramatic sequences of everyone doing dialoguebaazi in so many other moments- why not do the same now- show V take a stand- tell BK to F off and finish the pheras. He can tell them that they have no standing to be making any such conditions to 2 consenting adults who want to marry each other. Heck, they are already married. This is just renewal of vows but it has a lot more significance than the first marriage because it is happening out of LOVE.
