My mom didn't like NM's acting in the beginning. But now she has warmed up a lot..

I made her watch the Diwali scene when he cried and then asked itni toh achhi acting karta hai , mann jao na abb🤣🤣

She doesn't like the exaggerated goofy scenes at all, especially the hehe sound NM makes in between and sometimes he tilts his face too much, or raises one eyebrow like Shakuni Mama, then my mom gets irritated ...

Now every time NM nails the emotional scene , I pester my mom, dekho na kitne aachhe se ro raha hai, and the romantic scenes in which he pulls Priya into a hug, and strokes her hair so gently , then she says ha ha achhi karta hai ..

To get my mom appreciate someone's acting is like making sage Vashishta acknowledge someone as Bramharishi 😂

It was definitely a TAANA 😂 I remember the discussion on that EDT. Muze apne physics ki lab yaad aa gai thi. Some one even wrote about the dark room experiments.

I felt Priya's dialogue kaise wo baaki Bahu( baki female lead) jaisi nhi hai was a TAANA for 🐦ghar folks.
