I hope you have got your answer now after doodle's post. The sequence of Ramayan going south is original and going north (the direction of Ishaan) is the flip version.

Also you are right tirchi, ravan did knew Sita was his daughter! I just confirmed it with my mom.

My grandfather was not really much educated but was well versed in mythology as it was his topic of interest. so she knows a lot too since he used to tell a lot of stories.

I wish he was here, i would have hounded him with tons of questions. But he is no more now.

But Sita was is daughter and ravan knew about all this. As he wanted to die at the hands of L Vishnu so he was blessed with a boon but to accomplish what he wanted he had to kidnap goddess Lakshmi to anger L Vishnu, and he knew all along what he was doing and what results it will bring.

The land was given to nandini by vk. VK died because of it.

In ramayan, ram's legacy, the kingdom of ayodhya, is given to Kaikeyi and her child Bharat because of the boon. Dashrath dies because of it.

Shravan Kumar's story, Dasharath's biggest and darkest secret , that he revealed to his wives on death bed ..

He accidently killed him , so his blind parents gave a curse that he too would suffer from separation of son and they died of that trauma ..

Dasharath died of putra viyog coz of that curse.

I think Ram n Priya both as individuals have gone through their own set of trauma the nature of which is very different from each other , and used their own defense mechanisms to cope up..

Priya suffered betrayals from the closest people and extreme emotional abuse from father while Ram suffered loss and death of both biological parents ,struggles to get acceptance and inclusion in his own family in spite of doing everything possible instead they emotionally abuse and manipulate him ..

Pri had Meera and sisters to give emotional security( just having a family alive and functioning can be an invaluable asset) and Ram had friends to shield him unconditionally ..

More pain in store , Ram will learn of Nandini and Shubham's conspiracies and Pri will know about MS being VK murderer and involvement of Varun..

Aur kitna dukh dono ke life mein, itna kaafi hai ...

Let's see how VK's character turns out. I don't want him evil. I dream of seeing Pri, Ram happily living with VK ( If he turns out alive)
