I would like to sympathize with her for losing her father in such a way but they've butchered her character so badly that it'll be very, very difficult for me to feel any emotion towards her.

@averma1: I checked last night the dialogues of VK and Nandini about the land. VK did say he 'purchased' for Ram's mom (which one? did he buyback?). Nandini is super materialistic and how she was so cool about it not being under her possession? Think Think. Also, she washed her hands from the moment she got the land. Think hard again.
