They never needed any catalyst. I think it was for many reasons why the N-V scenes were so populated in the episodes, mostly because Nakuul was busy and unavailable. But, now that romance track is here, we will at least get some 5 mins. scenes at a minimum.

I already wrote abt Maitri not needing any more guy .. if she moves on to a next guy after going thr a bad relationship, it won’t last. She needs to be first independent

even though sara is annoying i liked how they showed in the show that sara is the one earning and varun is the one taking care of the family. it proves that it is not necessary that the man will do the earning , and the lady will take care of the family, i actually liked this 👍🏼

Ram is just like the FD, he also noticed how Priya said again and again 'mere pati' in the conversation to Varun.

Ram becomes Ram Kapoor again when he's sharing his views on barabri ka rishta. He doesn't miss a chance to throw a 'sixer' to impress the wife
