I remember I used to watch episodes online (that time episodes used to air like 1 month behind in uk) and was worried they wouldnt get married. Not worried anymore but I am a sucker for such tracks.

I think i am enjoying because I am watching for Abhira more than the show so maybe I’m unable to see what is lacking?

And angst scenes are always a hit in my book so if the makers utilise this well then they have a winner in their hands and I am saying this with confidence. Yes it would be lovely to see Abhi defend Akshara but audience will watch more keenly if they see some fire. Imagine Abhi testing Akshara and poor girl doesn’t know what is hitting her. I know my mum is gonna gobble this track if this happens cuz she’s already tensed whether the wedding will happen or not 😆

Those were the days! Me and my family were glued to the TV tk see what will happen! Is natik going to marry akshara or not or is he going to kick her out after marriage! It was tense but such good TV. Remember her grahpravesh as well with plates I'm sure it was over two or three episodes and it was nerve-racking! Ah fond memories of my teenage years!

Its good they did the confrontation privately as well but the first night happened straight after but was so lame 0 chemistry 🤣🤣

@Bold you know this is the issue - they’ve made abhira childish when in the beginning they were everything but this. Abhi is a grown up man who fell in love with Akshara, not some teenager still waiting for a beard to grow. Now I don’t know if Harshad has been told to act this way but I miss the Abhi from episode one where he was lovey dovey yet there was subtly in his expressions. It wasn’t childish. They need to get that Abhi back whose one look melted the audience. e.g the purple sari scene where Abhi compliments her - this scene was cheesy but it didn’t feel ott. Instead it felt hot because Harshad was crisp, he didn’t overdo it. So it must be the direction they’re getting as the abhi in initial episodes was perfect imo

Angst scenes are loading but does this mean we will not get the Mehndi parallel? Mehndi scene from Arohi wedding was the absolute bomb so how the hell will they redeem this? Unless the makers decided to repeat the scene 👀 the Mehndi scene had made me cry for the first time in this season so let’s see what happens. All I’m gonna say is that I’ve got my seatbelt on and am soo ready for this ride 😁

@Bold oh man! Same! Naitik had single handedly ruined every single function with his grumpy face 🤦🏻‍♀️ 😂 Feeling super nostalgic now 🤧

Omg I was 11 back then and I remember we were going to India that time so I had caught up on all the episodes online because uk used to air episodes 1 month late back then. The first thing I did when we landed in Mumbai was turn on the tv to see if wedding had happened. But guess what the wedding was still happening even by the time we came back from India. I can’t get over how much they had stretched the wedding 🤣

Oh yeah! I remember the thali scene because I was so upset she had dropped them all in the end. It’s a real Marwari tradition so I hope they have that scene here too and this time Akshara will be dropping every single plate 😂

Yeah first night was lame, I remember he had left her crying which was so mean.

I’m going India this time as well so parallel is happening with me too lol

Nostalgia! Naitik was something else 🤣 he was one stubborn spoilt man child! I hope the angst and truth is over by mehendi otherwise we are not going to get haldi romance! Like it would be so out of place for abhi to be romantic with akshu while his testing her 🤣

Naitik also had so many flaws but man he was so boring! For me, it is abhi out of all the gen male leads his the best one! And abhira are ❤
