My father are 8 siblings but dadu dadi ka ghar and shop is named to sabse bade wale badepapa bcoz only he lives there and his family now his son runs the shop.

But aur sab property was divided equally amongst all the siblings

My all the 3 buas got their share but my father along with 2 other bade papa gave away their part to my cousin sisters as their parents are no more.

I have never seen anyone fighting for property or asking their share.

Friction would have been there if all had same occupation or lived together but everyone live separately and have different occupations.

But Kaandyas mein it can't work bcoz everyone live together and have same occupation and work at same place.

Also a running small shop ka batwaara makes no sense.

My father r 5 siblings 3sisters and 2 brothers but 2 sisters passed away and my bua want to divide her share of property to both brothers equally but my kaka is not letting that happen becoz he wants all property for himself becoz of this only mere papa ko ek ghar kharidna pada taaki shanti se reh paye

My father was in airforce as result my grandmother used to favour my kaka a lot financially quki unko lagta tha papa ko zarurat nahi which was true but still haq tak nahi dia my grandmother never divided the property despite seeing the greedy nature of my kaka she passed away 7years ago and that ancestral property of us is still a disputed one my kaka is not agreeing to share it and living with his family all alone there only way to claim is to go for legal way but my father don't want to do that

And from my mother side my mother r 8 siblings 3 sisters and 5brothers here all brothers shared same occupation so what my nana did was first give all 5 brothers different land

Presently my 3 mama live together but all have seperate dukaan and seperate kitchen at home my other 2 mamas live totally seperate from this three but still in contact

In case of kandyas the better option is to give them land as well as money to build their own shop (papa ka sapna bhi pura ho jayega branches kholne ka ) and also seperate kitchen kiska kitna profit hua loss hua koi jhanela nahi rahega

Quki jo bhi shop se jo bhi ayega woh apni family k liye use karega
