If all this was shown but no consummation implied thats fantastic & a first for ITV as someone posted. Coz in real life it is normal for couples, married or dating, to explore increasing levels of intimacy before ‘doing it’, and even after consummating couples may enjoy different levels/forms of intimacy on different days. Every kiss or hug does not lead to sex. But in itv it is always all or nothing. So this is indeed refreshing.

I actually know of people who got disappointed when it happened as they had filmy expectations. Yes, it can be made special but not at the level we are shown on ITV.
