Yami Gautam calls out Film Companion - Page 9

Yami Gautam is both beautiful and talented! Katrina was a bad actress! And I am sure she to some extent knew it. I feel there are two ways to approach things one is to be sweet and diplomatic for success. Another way is to call a spade a spade.

What is also true that certain critics also called Sara Ali Khan a wasted talented actress in Coolie number 1. Umm. I was one of the few who thought Sara Ali Khan showed promise in Kedernath. After Love Ajkal there was no doubt she was terrible actress. A few thought Ananya did well in Gehraiyan. After that to say an actress like Yami Gautam was giving forced expressions. Soojit Sarkar being one of the most masterful film makers Bollywood has seen. He doesn’t just select actors for his movies for the heck of it, nepotism or casting couch. Anyone who has watched the film knows how wrong Anupama was in her review. Read the comments under the video which Anupama gives her review. 90% of people ageeed Anupama must have been smoking something. Those who have seen any of Yami’s other work would agree she is not Smita Patil but she is a decent actress. I think it was fine here. As long as she doesn’t come across too whiny.

Oh I though she would also call out Anupama since I saw so many people attacking Anupama for saying Yami came across forced .

As someone who does have some connections to the Indian film industry. There are certain critics that are bought for a paid for. Rajive being one.

This is fake right? Because the guy in the ad was a real person who died. Not some paid actor.

Good that she spoke up! Criticism is ok but bias nope. Anupama is sitting on cloud nine it seems one day she will fall flat on her face.

Lmao I find the comment funny. I also used to associate Yami with dead gf roles😆 I don’t know if it required Yami to say all this.

Classic dumb move by air headed Bollywood stars

Raise issues by giving importance to people and websites that are no longer relevant, and make them relevant again. The movie going audience doesn't give a rats ass about what Anupama Chopra or her cronies right via Film companion. Their site has a very limited audience and i am sure 99% of Yami's fans as well as haters would have not read this review if Yami had not called it out.

I have never read reviews on FC. Ended up going there to read the review because Yami made such a hue and cry about it (It's a really stupid review and has criticised everyone in a childish manner).
