If you could change history.

NathuPyare gave me idea to make this thread by his thread title "If you could go back in time".

Before opening that thread I thought it was about what would you change in history if you could go back in time. Since it wasn't about that, I've opened this thread.

Suppose if you have a time machine and you could teleport anywhere and anytime. You have the power to change history, what would you change and how would you change it?

For example, you decide to go back in time and stop Gandhi's assassination. How would you do it?

I don't know how....but if I could I would definitely stop Gandhi ji's assassination,😭 he is my favorite person from history..

Probably controversial but 🤷🏻‍♀️ For starters, I don’t wish assassination on anyone, maybe not even rapists (far too easy way to die), least of all the founding father of the nation. But i’ve heard a lot of shady things about Gandhiji over the years which aren’t taught in textbooks and so I’m not sure that’d be the event I choose to change tbh. 🌚

Just based on something which wasn’t even documented anywhere, you would want such a thing for someone who was already so frail, old (and nearing his natural end for all we know?) What about all the good things he did?

I’d love to know which things it is you’re thinking of that you’ve jumped to this conclusion that it wasn’t documented anywhere?
Please do read my post again with a cool head. I just said that isn’t my choice of historical event that i’d choose to change. Maybe i’d rather choose to save children from a gas chamber in Nazi Germany instead of a “frail, old man”? (Your words, not mine)

Which question? How would I know which things you were thinking which you yourself admitted to not finding anywhere in the history?

BTW @Bold: that’s one sure shot way of spreading ’undocumented’ baseless gossips though. They just may not be ‘your’ chachi ka beta.
