Pratha's backstory is such a dissapointment

I mean like literally, when they said something horrible happened I was expecting it to be related to the pandemic. Like maybe the asurs were behind whatever tragedy befell her family but all we got was 2 random men who are not only unarmed but drunk as well coming and wrecking havoc in their palace where they manage to kill their parents and younger brother.

How is this even possible? Like there are 3 icchaadhaari naagins together but they still couldn;t defend themselves against two random unarmed drunk men?? This literally killed the scope for linking the pandemic to her own personal loss making the story overall boring with nothing much to look forward to.

I never expected her past to be linked with the pandemic but I wanted a good story. So disappointed to see two college boys killing her family and she becoming the sheshnaagin.

I guess all 3 women were powerless that time. Pratha's mother married to human, hence lost power and become human. Mehek and Pratha later got power. It is similar to Shivangi become naagin after 21.

Even s5 bani had her powers its only that farista which cursed their relation even though they got approval from shivji.

So i think she is not human. As human will wear human dresses like shivanya when she died she was in her sarees but her mom was in naagin attire.

The back story was disappointing 😔Even if didn't have the powers.They could have done something. Like when those two drunk men caught hold of Mahek. Pratha and her mother could have pushed those guys beat them with stick or some object instead of only shouting is what I felt. If Pratha's mother would have power also but was weak she should have taken naagin roop. That was enough to make the drunk guys terrified or run

Even if they were powerless those two college guys were literally drunk besides being outnumbered. How difficult is it to kick them out and defend yourselves against them? They could have hussled to pick up anything that could have been used as a weapon to strike them down.

I think people were disappointed because they built it up so much. They expectations went really high
