I watched the second episode of all the three ramzan plays. I cant even say watched, cuz i skipped for the most part. 😆 and i did just to see if my opinion changes or not cuz i saw mixed reviews all over and some very different from mine.
Starting with Paristaan. The second episode was better in comparison to the first episode. I cant pin point in what sense, but it was by a small margin. I skipped and fast forwarded. It just didn't hold my interest. There is nothing in this show that makes me look forward to watching it. Neither the premise, nor the love story, nor the actors, nor the characters. Nothing. This one is out for me!
When the teasers were released, i found this one the most interesting, i had some expectations from it for being enjoyable. But its not. But having said that i had a feeling that this could be a surprise hit out of the lot, this one's first episode's views were way ahead than even hum tum's.
Moving to Hum tum. Even this drama's second episode was better than the first. Ahad needs to stop making weird expressions in the name of comedy. He really shouldn't have taken this show. Us ki bas ki baat nai hai. Ramsha is trying but i still cant warm up to her. They have tried to insert interesting bits in this show, however i think they only seem interesting on paper, kyuki show mein you just keep watching it all with a straight face without a single reaction. I fast forwarded this entire show in a few minutes. Again, this one is also out for me.
Humtum's teasers were lacklustre. The show seems exactly that. Even there ahad's acting seemed off. In the show you see why exactly. 😆
(I watched chupke chupke's teasers and first episode for comparison. I enjoyed it the first time i saw them and enjoyed it today as well, i think i was into this show from the very start, so its not necessary that these ramzan shows pick up only later, i think they can be good from the very start like chupke chupke if they are well made.)
These two have definitely underperformed as HUM shows. And i agree with what Ashley said about the views part, these two shows are youth shows and hum is known for ramzan plays. The buzz surrounding ahad, cba aymen and other stuff is with HUM tv. Whether good or not this channel is bound to get views in comparison to geo for a ramzan play. Btw, these views might be better than geo's but they aren't what they should have been getting ideally. Chupke chupke last year was way ahead.
Finally moving to Chaudhary and sons. This one is OTT of the lot. And typical geo. Its exactly what i had expected a geo ramzan play to be, starting from the name of the drama, to the production house to imran ashraf as the hero and to the supporting cast especially them all being veterans. Which is why i dont feel disappointed with this one cuz it is exactly what i had expected. But since its typical geo comedy it aint my type. So im not watching this one too. I fast forwarded yesterday's episode. Il just watch Ayeza's scenes here and there if i find something interesting on insta. Thats about it.
So yes, bottom line i aint watching any one of them. Chaudhary and sons il keep a watch at the reviews and stuff just to see if it gets interesting after ayeza and dadi land at the Chaudhary house.
Narobi, omg you decided to watch Chaudhary and sons this ramzan? pehle ek do episodes hi dekhlo. 😆 Purey Series ko dekhna bahut badi baat hogi. And you watch the first episode of all the plays and decide yourself. For now i feel my review matches with Ashley's. Forum aur reviewers ke videos dekhoge toh kuch aur hi scene hai. 😆 You guys should watch galaxy lollywood and fuchia's reviews on these shows. Kya chawal maar re hai. Praising hum tum and paristaan. Lol that intellectual rabia toh pucho mat, itna enjoy kiya hai usne 🤣
@the imran ashraf bit! Damn, have you watched badzaat clips that i had posted? Even that Ak buzz reviewer had pointed out his over acting 😆 hasan and amna too have subtely did it. But they are being very cautious cuz they are close to him. Never the less I was so damn surprised. 😆 they just say that every single person in badzaat has done over acting, but wont specifically say imran ne kiya hai. He is the leader of over acting in that show. I swear. 😆 so yeah coming back to Chaudhary and sons, badzaat mein uski acting aur buri hai, isliye i have become immune to his over acting here 😆 and yes i did tell this, hammad's scenes went smooth actually.. the dadi too over acting especially in the first episode. I wish that dj kid from suno chanda has better and more scenes. I liked that kid and his comedy in suno chanda.
